We are looking for an expert Software Engineer who is passionate about developing robust games' software using C++/C# adhering to the defined specifications/timelines.
You will be an integral part of the OZ Software Team; your role will be to work as individual contributor and help mentoring other team members.
You will be responsible for owning complete game development cycle for your game, interacting with multiple partners for understanding game requirements and helping your peers and other team members to understand those requirements to build phenomenal games.
What you will do:
Develop high-quality gaming software, ensuring timely delivery and alignment to project requirements.
Apply strong problem-solving skills, OOP principles, and optimized data structures to build efficient solutions.
Actively participate in and implement all stages of the software development process (SDLC), including crafting and interpreting UML diagrams to communicate design and architecture optimally.
Ensure the delivery of robust, maintainable code through detailed software design and code reviews.
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, effectively collaborating with global stakeholders.
Show enthusiasm and passion for software development, contributing to team success by fostering a collaborative environment.
Actively support team members and participate in retrospectives for continuous improvement.
Support the progress of software development by focusing on coding standards, code reviews, design reviews, and emphasizing code reusability.
Familiarity with GDB debugging, C#, and Unity engine would be beneficial.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with geographically dispersed teams.
Demonstrates a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Experience in implementing or working with automation frameworks is highly desirable.
Proficient in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash).
Experience working in a continuous build, integration, and test environment.
Familiarity with source control systems (e.g., Git) and the Microsoft Office Suite.

2-5 years of experience in software development.
