Roles & Responsibilities:
o Interacting with global customers and understanding customer’s specific need in the area of materials engineering support
o Creating material specifications (both metallic and nonmetallic) as per business requirements.
o Maintaining material specifications library as per changes in material regulations and changes in associated global standards (ASTM/EN etc.)
o Developing Material Declarations for BOM (at product/details/assembly level) for material regulations such as REACH, IHM, and RoHS etc.
o Working in PLM tool to keep the customer database updated according to the revised material specifications
o Resolving regulation related queries to customer
o Reviewing and approving the supplier declaration with respect to legislation requirements
