The ideal candidate is not just a people manager but also an active hands-on developer who thrives on solving technical challenges, writing clean code, and mentoring a high-performing team.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/>- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 8 to 10 software engineers focused on building scalable and high-performing web applications.<br/><br/>- Stay hands-on with coding primarily in React, Next.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.<br/><br/>- Oversee end-to-end delivery : from planning and architecture to deployment and performance optimization.<br/><br/>- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend teams to deliver high-quality features on time.<br/><br/>- Conduct code reviews, establish engineering best practices, and foster a culture of clean, maintainable code.<br/><br/>- Contribute to backend discussions and integration (basic familiarity with Node.js or similar backend technologies is a plus).<br/><br/>- Drive technical excellence and continuous improvement within the team.<br/><br/><b>Requirements :</b><br/><br/>- 8+ years of overall experience in software development, with a strong foundation in frontend technologies.<br/><br/>- Proven team management experience (8 to 10 engineers).<br/><br/>- Strong hands-on skills in React.js, Next.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.<br/><br/>- Exposure to backend systems (Node.js, APIs, or microservices preferred).<br/><br/>- Excellent problem-solving, architectural, and communication skills.<br/><br/>- A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with the ability to balance coding and leadership.<br/><br/><b>Nice-to-Have :</b><br/><br/>- Experience in performance optimization and front-end architecture.<br/><br/>- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.) and CI/CD pipelines.<br/><br/>- Contributions to open-source projects or tech communities.</p><br/><p></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
