<p><b>Roles & Responsibilities :</b><br/> <br/>What You'll Do :<br/><br/> - Manage a team of engineers developing highly scalable, performant, easily maintainable & well - tested product features.<br/><br/> - Exude a strong sense of feature & delivery ownership, agility, and an urge for continuous learning.<br/><br/> - Develop and maintain an extremely strong culture of engineering innovation, within the teams.<br/><br/> - Ensure the delivery of technical initiatives through design to agile development phases.<br/><br/> - Help creatively solve business problems by supporting the necessary backend, frontend, and API infrastructure.<br/><br/> - Evaluate engineering requirements and design proposals in a technical capacity, in collaboration with Product Management.<br/><br/> - Evaluate and develop the technical performance of individual contributors within the team.<br/><br/> - Effectively collaborate with other teams across the organization to meet the release expectations.<br/><br/> - Be in touch with the latest frameworks in the industry, and be influential in all choices related to SaaS application stack.<br/><br/> - Evaluate requirements and work with PMO to create a project plan.<br/><br/> - Effectively facilitate daily stand - ups, early risk identification and mitigation, dependency resolution, follow - ups for gap - closure, etc.<br/><b><br/></b></p><p><p><b>The experience you need :</b></p><p><br/> - 10+ years of professional software development experience, which includes substantial & demonstrable implementation expertise using Java/Node.JS/Golang</p><br/> - 4+ years of direct people management experience in a techno - managerial capacity<br/><br/> - Strong ability to write and evaluate code<br/><br/> - Strong track record of delivering complex projects on time<br/><br/> - Any certifications : PMI or Scrum<br/><br/></p><p>- An expert scrum master and an Agile practitioner<br/><br/> - Demonstrated the ability to lead teams of highly skilled developers<br/><br/> - Extensive prior work with cloud - based SaaS platform(s); broad experience developing high - throughput backend systems, microservices, API layers, etc.<br/><br/> - Working experience in Spring, Spring Boot, or related java frameworks, RESTful API design and development, event - driven architecture<br/><br/> - Knowledge of distributed systems, proficiency working in Linux environment<br/><br/> - Strong Software development fundamentals, architecture, algorithms, and problem - solving skills<br/><br/> - Deep understanding of observability concepts and tooling.<br/><br/> - Excellent written and verbal communication, strong organizational skills, and attention to details<br/><br/><b>Preferred :</b><br/><br/> - Experience with Amazon AWS services, CICD<br/><br/> - Understanding of distributed systems, asynchrony, and message - based architectures<br/><br/> - Experience working with HTML/CSS React/Angular frameworks<br/><br/> - Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB<br/><br/> - Experience working in a load - balanced, large, stateless microservices environment </p><p><br/></p><p>- Bachelor/Masters in Computer Science or a related field</p> (ref:hirist.tech)
