The ideal candidate will have a solid background in engineering, release management, and hands-on experience with our tech stack, including Java Spring Boot, Redis Cache, Postgres DB, microservice architecture, and :</b></p><br/><p><br/></p><p>- Lead and manage the engineering team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high performance and productivity.</p><br/><br/><p>- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and design, to define and prioritise product requirements and project timelines.</p><br/><br/><p>- Oversee the development and implementation of software projects, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes.</p><br/><br/><p>- Utilise your expertise in release management to ensure smooth and timely software deployments, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external partners as necessary.</p><br/><br/><p>- Drive the adoption of agile methodologies, continuous integration, and continuous delivery practices to optimise the software development lifecycle.</p><br/><br/><p>- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities to leverage new tools or frameworks to enhance our tech stack.</p><br/><br/><p>- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the engineering team.</p><br/><br/><p>- Participate in the recruitment and onboarding process of new engineering team members, ensuring the right talent is hired and integrated effectively.</p><br/><br/><p>- Monitor and manage resource allocation and project timelines to ensure successful project delivery within schedule :</b></p><p><b><br/></b></p><br/><p>- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.</p><br/><br/><p>- Proven work experience as an Engineering Manager, with a minimum of 7-12 years in software development.</p><br/><br/><p>- Strong hands-on experience with our tech stack, including Java Spring Boot, Redis Cache, Postgres DB, microservice architecture, and Kubernetes.</p><br/><br/><p>- Demonstrated experience in release management, ensuring successful software deployments and coordinating with stakeholders.</p><br/><br/><p>- Previous experience in a startup environment is highly desirable, with a track record of driving innovation and managing projects from conception to completion.</p><br/><br/><p>- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.</p><br/><br/><p>- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a strategic mindset.</p><br/><br/><p>- Experience with agile methodologies, continuous integration, and continuous delivery practices.</p><br/><br/><p>- Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure and deployment models, such as AWS, is a plus.</p> (ref:hirist.tech)
