<p><p><b>Role Summary : </b><br/><br/>We are looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead our Integrations and Platform team, responsible for building and managing customer integrations, Snowflake data pipelines, and SSO/tenant onboarding.<br/><br/>Youll design and deliver scalable data solutionscovering ELT/CDC, Snowpipe, Streams & Tasks, RBAC enforcement, and cost optimizationwhile driving technical excellence, delivery predictability, and SOC 2 compliance.<br/><br/>This is a player-coach role (3050% hands-on) that combines technical leadership, people management, and delivery ownership, supported by data-driven performance metrics (DORA).<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/>1.
Leadership & Team Development : <br/><br/>- Lead, coach, and grow a team of engineers across integrations and platform domains.<br/><br/>- Set goals, conduct 1 : 1s, and build personalized development plans.<br/><br/>- Drive agile execution with clarity, accountability, and measurable outcomes.<br/><br/>2.
Architecture & Delivery : <br/><br/>- Define and maintain scalable integration and data flow architectures (webhooks, queues, CDC, retries, idempotency).<br/><br/>- Plan and execute projects through discovery ?

go-live.<br/><br/>- Ensure predictable delivery with a focus on quality, reliability, and cost control.<br/><br/>3.
Hands-On Contribution : <br/><br/>- Write and review code in Python, TypeScript, and SQL.<br/><br/>- Build reference connectors, data transforms, and observability dashboards (structured logs, alerts).<br/><br/>- Establish CI/CD pipelines, quality gates, and automated release workflows.<br/><br/>4.
Security, Compliance & Change Control : <br/><br/>- Enforce SOC 2aligned SDLC practices : ticketed changes, approvals, design artifacts, and rollback plans.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with Security on audit readiness and evidence collection.<br/><br/>5.
Identity & Onboarding :<br/><br/>- Lead SSO implementations (OIDC/SAML) and multi-tenant provisioning.<br/><br/>- Partner with Customer Success to streamline onboarding playbooks.<br/><br/><b>Minimum Qualifications : </b><br/><br/>- 710+ years in software engineering, including 24+ years in a managerial or lead role.<br/><br/>- Proficient in Python, TypeScript, REST APIs, JSON, and SQL.<br/><br/>- Hands-on experience with Snowflake or similar data warehouse technologies.<br/><br/>- Proven delivery of enterprise integrations (e.g., Salesforce, Yardi, MRI, payments, or identity providers).<br/><br/>- Demonstrated success in implementing CI/CD pipelines and improving DORA metrics.<br/><br/>- Strong understanding of SOC 2 compliance and SDLC best practices.<br/><br/><b>Preferred Qualifications : </b><br/><br/>- Experience with Azure AD / Okta federation and multi-tenant SaaS onboarding.<br/><br/>- Knowledge of SQS, Kafka, or other messaging systems.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP) and idempotent, replayable data pipelines.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
