<p></p><p><b>About the Role : </b><br/><br/>We are looking for a skilled and motivated GCP DevOps Lead to join our technology team.
You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing robust cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
You will work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performance deployments.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/>- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Cloud Build.<br/><br/></p><p>- Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and GCP-native services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, etc.).<br/><br/></p><p>- Build and manage Kubernetes deployments using Helm charts.<br/><br/></p><p>- Implement GitOps practices using Argo CD for automated, secure, and auditable Kubernetes deployments.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ensure system security, scalability, and performance across all cloud infrastructure.<br/><br/></p><p>- Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment using IaC and CI/CD tools.<br/><br/></p><p>- Monitor infrastructure and applications using Cloud Monitoring (Stackdriver), Prometheus, Grafana, etc.<br/><br/></p><p>- Manage container orchestration using GKE, including scaling, upgrades, and cluster management.<br/><br/></p><p>- Handle secret and credential management via GCP Secret Manager or Vault.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline release cycles and ensure reliability in production.<br/><br/></p><p>- Implement and maintain effective logging, alerting, and incident response systems.<br/><br/></p><p>- Optimize cloud usage and help with cost management strategies on GCP.<br/><br/><b>Key Skills & Qualifications : </b><br/><br/>- Proficiency with Helm charts for Kubernetes package management<br/><br/></p><p>- Hands-on experience with Argo CD for GitOps-based deployment automation<br/><br/></p><p>- Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Cloud Build)<br/><br/></p><p>- Expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficient in Docker and Kubernetes (GKE preferred)<br/><br/></p><p>- Scripting with Bash, Python, or other relevant tools<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with GitOps, version control (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket)<br/><br/></p><p>- Good understanding of cloud networking, security, and load balancing<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience in monitoring and alerting tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Stackdriver</p><p></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
