Preferred to be knowledgeable with various ESRI products ArcGIS Enterprise, Image Analyst Extension, Data Reviewer Extension.<br/><br/></p><p>We are seeking a highly skilled GIS Data Specialist to join our team.<br/><br/></p><p>The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting geospatial data to support informed decision-making.<br/><br/></p><p>Having AI/ML knowledge is an added advantage.<br/><br/><b>Roles & Responsibilities :</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>- Data Collection and Management : Search, collect, process, and manage large datasets, including GIS data, satellite imagery, and other spatial data sources.<br/><br/></p><p>- Require knowledge of image analysis techniques like band combinations, pixel depth, and image strip artifacts removal.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Validate and ensure the accuracy, quality, and completeness of spatial data.<br/><br/></p><p>- ETL operations : ETL operations between GIS applications/database using Esri Desktop or Server.<br/><br/></p><p>- Internally develop or collaborate with third-party vendors to deploy solutions based on business requirements.<br/><br/></p><p>- GIS Analysis and Mapping : Conduct spatial analysis, map creation, and geospatial model development to aid various projects and initiatives.<br/><br/></p><p>- Data Quality Assurance : Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency through quality checks and resolution of data discrepancies using ArcGIS Data Reviewer.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaboration and Communication : Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including project managers, analysts, and external partners, to comprehend data requirements.<br/><br/></p><p>- Create training materials and Conduct trainings to customers as required.<br/><br/></p><p>- Support trade shows and Esri conferences as required.<br/><br/></p><p>- Stay Up to Date with Industry Trends : Engage in continuous professional development to uphold expertise in GIS technology, data analysis, and AI.<br/><br/><b>Desired skillset :</b></p><p><p><br/></p>- Experience with Image analysis : Familiarity with Image processing techniques.<br/><br/></p><p>- Preferred to be knowledgeable with various ESRI products ArcGIS Enterprise, Image Analyst Extension, Data Reviewer Extension.<br/><br/></p><p>- Effective time management and organizational skills.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ability to identify, research, and resolve issues proactively and provide recommendations to business partners, peers, and various levels of management.<br/><br/><b>Non-negotiable skills :</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>- Working knowledge on imagery-based data creation on Esri platform.<br/><br/></p><p>- Master's degree in RS, GIS, Geoinformatics, or a related field.<br/><br/></p><p>- Should be ready for travelling & work at the client site if required.<br/><br/></p><p>- Self-motivated with exceptional planning, critical thinking, analytical and communication skills.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
