<br/><br/><b>Your Impact </b><br/><br/>As commerce ecosystems become increasingly AI-driven, we are looking for a Senior Manager - Performance Marketing (Marketplaces Specialist) to help brands scale in the world's most dynamic marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, TikTok, Walmart and beyond.

This role is about ensuring our clients win the algorithm and dominate the digital shelf.

As a marketplace expert, you will join McKinsey's Digital Marketing hub (DMH) and will be part of our client service team to take ownership of a workstream and solve some of the toughest challenges our clients face.

- <br/><br/><b>Responsibilities: </b><br/><br/>1.<b> Strategy & Leadership </b><br/><br/>- Own the end-to-end growth strategy for client brands on marketplaces.

<br/><br/>- Build platform-specific and category-level strategies tailored to marketplace dynamics and brand objectives.

<br/><br/>- Lead a team of marketplace specialists and analysts to deliver measurable impact.

<br/><br/>2.

<b>AI-Driven Performance Marketing </b><br/><br/>- Deep expertise in performance marketing and PDP optimization, with a focus on how AI algorithms drive visibility and conversion.

<br/><br/>- Leverage marketplace intelligence tools like Pacvue, Helium10, JungleScout, ROI Hunter to power smarter bidding, product positioning, and competitor analysis.

<br/><br/>- Experience scaling strategies by turning data into intelligence with automation and machine learning.

<br/><br/>- Strong knowledge of Google, Meta, and performance media, with an understanding of how AI-based targeting and creative optimization are reshaping campaign performance.

<br/><br/>3.

<b>Marketplace Advertising & Optimization </b><br/><br/>- Drive campaigns across Amazon Sponsored Ads, DSP, Flipkart Ads, Myntra Ads, and Nykaa Marketing platforms.

<br/><br/>- Optimize campaigns for ACOS, ROAS, visibility, and new customer acquisition while ensuring profitability.

<br/><br/>- Analyze category dynamics, search algorithms, and competitor activity to uncover growth opportunities.

<br/><br/>4.

<b>Client & Business Impact </b><br/><br/>- Act as a trusted partner for CXO-level stakeholders, aligning recruitment strategies with business growth objectives.

<br/><br/>- Present insights, reviews, and AI-driven recommendations to deliver sustained impact.

<br/><br/>- Own P&L responsibility for assigned accounts and ensure delivery of business outcomes.

<br/><br/>5.

<b>Cross-Functional Collaboration </b><br/><br/>- Partner with creative, analytics, and product teams to execute data-led campaigns.

<br/><br/>- Work with marketplace account managers to test beta programs, leverage promotions, and capture first-mover advantage.

<br/><br/>- You will be based in Gurgaon and will be part of the ETML Team (subsidiary of McKinsey & Co.) which is a part of the Growth, Marketing and Sales practice.

<br/><br/><b>Your Qualifications and Skills </b><br/><br/>1.

4-8 years of experience in Performance Marketing with a strong focus on marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, TikTok, Walmart and beyond).

<br/><br/>2.

Proven expertise in AI-powered commerce marketing, marketplace tools (Pacvue, Helium10, JungleScout, ROI Hunter), and automation-driven optimization.

<br/><br/>3.

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools.

<br/><br/>Solid understanding of e-commerce algorithms, PDP optimization, bidding strategies, and digital shelf management.

<br/><br/>4.

Excellent client and stakeholder management skills with prior CXO-level exposure.

<br/><br/>5.

Team leadership experience with a proven ability to build and mentor high-performing teams.
