<p><p><b>Job Title : </b> QA Engineer (Web Platform Drupal & Next.js)<br/><br/><b>Experience : </b> 5+ Years<br/><br/><b>Location : </b> Remote<br/><br/><b>Notice Period : </b> Immediate Joiners Only</p><p><b><br/></b></p><p><p><b>Key Responsibilities : </b></p><p><br/></p>- Own the QA process for the web platform across frontend (Next.js) and backend (Drupal APIs).<br/><br/></p><p>- Develop and maintain test documentation : test plans, test cases, and test data for functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing.<br/><br/></p><p>- Execute manual testing for web UI and APIs, logging clear, reproducible issues with detailed steps and environment information.<br/><br/></p><p>- Perform cross-browser and device compatibility testing to validate responsiveness, accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA), and user experience consistency.<br/><br/></p><p>- Validate GraphQL/REST APIs using tools like Postman or Insomnia, including schema validation and error handling.<br/><br/></p><p>- Test API integrations between Next.js frontend and Drupal backend, ensuring smooth data flow and content workflows.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with developers, designers, and product owners to understand requirements, user stories, and edge cases.<br/><br/></p><p>- Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint demos).<br/><br/></p><p>- Work with developers to reproduce issues, support debugging, and promote quality-first development practices.<br/><br/></p><p>- Provide QA input during requirement analysis and design phases to identify quality risks Skills</b></p><p><br/></p>- 5+ years of QA/testing experience in modern web application development.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong expertise in React/Next.js UI testing (component states, lifecycle testing).<br/><br/></p><p>- Extensive experience in API testing (GraphQL & REST) authentication, authorization, schema, and performance.<br/><br/></p><p>- Hands-on with bug tracking tools (Jira, Asana) and test management platforms (Zephyr, TestRail, qTest).<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser testing.<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.1 AA).<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficiency with Git version control and collaborative workflows.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.<br/><br/></p><p>- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documentation and stakeholder collaboration.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of web security testing (OWASP, GDPR, CCPA to Have : </b></p><p><br/></p>- Experience with test automation frameworks (Cypress, Playwright, Jest, React Testing Library).<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with Drupal ecosystem (headless/decoupled, JSON : API endpoints).<br/><br/></p><p>- CMS/content workflow testing experience.<br/><br/></p><p>- CI/CD integration experience (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).<br/><br/></p><p>- Performance testing (Lighthouse, WebPageTest, JMeter, K6).<br/><br/></p><p>- Analytics validation (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, GTM, Adobe Launch).<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Acquia Cloud) and Docker.<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with monitoring tools (New Relic, DataDog, Model : </b></p><p><br/></p>- Participate in daily stand-ups with the remote team.<br/><br/></p><p>- Actively contribute to QA planning during sprint cycles.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
