<p><p><b>What Youll Be Doing : </b></p><p><br/> Evolent is looking for a Lead Software Engineer to be a key member of the application engineering team.<br/><br/> This individual will play a critical role in executing Evolent's mission by architecting, developing, and maintaining technical processes around the .<br/><br/>NET platform assets to ensure success in terms of both revenue and timely release of current and next generation products and Functions : </b></p><p><br/> - Be a part of an application development IT shop through the requirement, design, development, QA SDLC cycles with a focus on C#, ASP.NET, associated web technologies, and relational database technologies.</p><br/> - Lead aspects of our services-based solutions and internal applications to ensure consistency, quality, architectural integrity, scalability, and availability.<br/><br/> - Hands-on engineer who will support implementation during design, development, and maintenance of Evolents core platforms.<br/><br/> This includes web applications, services, and data management routines.<br/><br/> - Investigate and integrate advances in software engineering technology and practices into the overall development process; these areas should include, but are not limited to programming languages, relational database systems, application frameworks, software processes, software automation, and system optimization / scaling.<br/><br/> - Help to resolve questions of program intent, software requirements, and inclusion of internal checks and controls.<br/><br/> - Develop software solutions using industry best practices and in the area of security and performance in a web and SOA architecture environment.<br/><br/> - Collaborates with team and business owners in the development and/or execution of all types of software development considering the objectives of the organization.<br/><br/> - Participate in the full systems life cycle with solution design, development, implementation, and product support using scrum and other agile methodologies.<br/><br/> - Maintain source-code repository and participate in deployment of code into production.<br/><br/> - Help explore and implement modern technologies.<br/><br/> - Develop software using known best practices such as Unit Testing, Continuous Integration.<br/><br/> - Communicates the status and forecasting of these projects to the internal clients through a variety of methods including project status reports.<br/><br/> - Research competitive online marketing presence/campaigns and maintains a pulse on industry trends and systems; bringing forth ideas that embrace emerging technology/executions and innovative ideas.<br/><br/> - Develops metrics for gauging success of enhancements using TFS and other issue tracking software in an agile/SCRUM SDLC environment.<br/><br/> - Identifies modern technologies that will benefit shortand long-term department goals.<br/><br/> - Provides thought leadership in the areas of strategy and technology.<br/><br/> - Produces and implements visual enhancements to existing designs as needed.<br/><br/> - Performs other duties as Qualification : </b>BE (B.Tech) or equivalent degree in Computer Science or related Skills : </b></p><p><br/> - Strong candidates will be comfortable working across the complete technology stack implemented using Microsoft technologies (.NET, SQL Server, Azure).</p><br/> - Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and outstanding problem-solving skills.<br/><br/> - Ability to work both independently, and as part of a globally distributed team of technical and non-technical colleagues.<br/><br/> - Strong written and verbal communication skills.<br/><br/> - Experience operating, monitoring, and maintaining software / application in production.<br/><br/>9+ years of experience with : <br/><br/> - Software and application development.<br/><br/> - Microsoft & .NET Technologies specifically .NET Core, .NET6/8, C#, T-SQL, Blazor, Azure.<br/><br/> - Building scalable and performant RESTful/Web APIs using ASP.NET.<br/><br/> - Relational database development (preferably using SQL Server.<br/><br/> - Testing XUnit, NUnit, MSTest.<br/><br/> - Logging NLog, log4net.<br/><br/> - ORMs Dapper, Entity Framework, NHibernate.<br/><br/> - Design patterns & SOLID Principals.<br/><br/> - Dependency Injection.<br/><br/> - SDLC in an Agile Scrum environment.<br/><br/> - Skills : </b><br/><br/> - Healthcare industry experience.<br/><br/> - Experience breaking down legacy monolithic platforms.<br/><br/> - Experience with microservices oriented development and methodologies.<br/><br/> - Experience in configuring and using Azure PaaS offerings (e.<br/><br/> App Services, Azure SQL Database, Azure Service Bus, Azure Config, etc.<br/><br/> - Understanding ANSI X12, HL7, and other data formats.<br/><br/> - Experience with Caching technologies specifically Requirements : </b></p><br/> Employees must have a high-speed broadband internet connection with a minimum speed of 50 Mbps and the ability to set up a wired connection to their home network to ensure effective remote work.<br/><br/> These requirements may be updated as needed by the business.</p><p>Evolent Health is an equal opportunity employer and considers all qualified applicants equally without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran status, or disability status.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
