<p><p>We are looking for an experienced Delivery Lead to manage and deliver data management projects for our global clients.
</p><p><br/></p><p>The ideal candidate will have strong experience overseeing Data Engineering teams, Data Warehousing, and Cloud (preferably AWS).
Prior exposure to Insurance domain projects will be an added advantage.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/>- Lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale Data Management and Data Engineering projects.<br/><br/></p><p>- Manage offshore delivery teams comprising Data Engineers, Data Analysts, and BI professionals.<br/><br/></p><p>- Oversee project planning, execution, quality assurance, and timely delivery in alignment with client requirements.<br/><br/></p><p>- Provide technical direction and guidance on Data Warehousing, Data Integration, and Cloud Data Solutions (AWS preferred).<br/><br/></p><p>- Engage directly with client stakeholders to understand data requirements, resolve issues, and manage expectations.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ensure robust governance, compliance with best practices, and adherence to data security standards.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and onshore teams to design effective solutions.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proactively identify risks, define mitigation plans, and handle escalations related to delivery.<br/><br/></p><p>- Support continuous improvement initiatives and implement automation where possible to increase efficiency.<br/><br/></p><p>- Mentor team members and help build technical capability within the offshore delivery unit.<br/><br/><b>Key Skills & Competencies :</b><br/><br/>- <b>15+ years of overall IT experience</b> with at least <b>8 years in a Data Delivery Lead or Project</b> Management role for Data projects.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong hands-on knowledge of <b>Data Management, Data Warehousing concepts, and ETL</b> processes.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proven experience managing <b>Data Engineering</b> teams working with modern cloud data stacks (<b>AWS preferred; Azure</b> or GCP is a plus).<br/><br/></p><p>- Working knowledge of <b>AWS services such as S3, Redshift, Glue, EMR, or similar tools.</b><br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with modern data architectures <b>Data Lakes, Data Pipelines, and Big Data frameworks</b> is desirable.<br/><br/></p><p>- Good understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and project management best practices.<br/><br/></p><p>- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.<br/><br/></p><p>- Insurance domain knowledge is an advantage but not mandatory.<br/><br/><b>Education :</b><br/><br/>- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.<br/><br/></p><p>- Certifications in AWS Cloud, Data Engineering, or Project Management are desirable.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
