The D&W SBU is focused on innovating the foundation of FactSets product offering.<br/><br/>By marrying robust content, intuitive applications, and innovative technology, we defend and grow our footprint across several key user classes including investment banking, sell-side research, buy-side research, private equity, portfolio managers, traders, capital markets, investor relations, and media.<br/><br/>This SBU contains Core Applications (Screening, Company & Security Analytics, Industry and Markets, Filings, Ownership, Research, News, Charting).<br/><br/>The SBU closely partners with the Data Solutions and Platform Horizontals on strategy for FactSet Web, Mobile, and much of FactSets content offering.<br/><br/><b>What We're Looking For : </b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>- Develop high quality and easily maintainable code.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with other engineers, product team and work as part of a geographically diverse team.<br/><br/></p><p>- Follow best practices such as code reviews, testing, documentation, and version control.<br/><br/></p><p>- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing applications and systems.<br/><br/><b>What You'll Do : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>- B.Tech or M.Tech </p><p><br/></p><p>- 3 5 years of experience working professionally as a Software Developer building web application.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Professional Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience using Node.js, JavaScript, ES6, TypeScript, and any modern web framework (Vue, Angular or React).<br/><br/></p><p>- Deeply understand complex systems and have an aptitude to learn.<br/><br/><b>Highly Desired Skills : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience with TypeScript, Vue.js, and Building UI components.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience in responsive web design and building responsive web sites.<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of building APIs and Data Visualizations.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficiency in writing unit test cases for frontend components and experience using unit testing frameworks like Vitest, jest.<br/><br/></p><p>- Comprehensive understanding and experience of EndtoEnd (E2E) testing, preferably with tools such as playwright or cypress.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong knowledge of Node.js and experience working with Node.js services.<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes and tools.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with Scrum, Kanban, or Agile software development in general.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience working with or contributing to open-source.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience working with remote teams.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ability to articulate and quickly adopt development best practices.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficiency with Object Oriented design principles and working knowledge of Linux OS.<br/><br/><b>What's In It For You : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>At FactSet, our people are our greatest asset, and our culture is our biggest competitive advantage.
