Job Description
<p><p>We are looking for an experienced <b>Firmware Embedded Developer</b> to design and develop firmware for <b>fitness/wearable devices</b>, with a strong focus on <b>Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) integration with mobile applications</b>.
The role involves developing low-power embedded solutions, integrating with <b>NDK/SDK layers</b>, and collaborating closely with mobile app teams to deliver seamless user experiences.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/>- Design, develop, and optimize firmware for fitness/wearable devices.<br/><br/></p><p>- Implement and maintain <b>BLE communication protocols</b> for Android/iOS integration.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with mobile developers to ensure smooth interaction via <b>NDK/SDKs</b>.<br/><br/></p><p>- Work with hardware teams on <b>sensor integration</b> (accelerometer, heart-rate, SpO2, etc.).<br/><br/></p><p>- Debug and resolve firmware, connectivity, and performance issues.<br/><br/></p><p>- Support <b>OTA firmware updates</b> and SDK documentation for third-party integration.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ensure low-power consumption and high reliability in embedded systems.<br/><br/><b>Requirements :</b><br/><br/>- Bachelors/Masters in <b>Electronics, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or related fields</b>.<br/><br/></p><p>- <b>3-5 years of hands-on experience</b> in firmware development.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficiency in <b>C/C++ for embedded systems</b>.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong knowledge of <b>microcontrollers (ARM Cortex, Nordic nRF, ESP32, or similar)</b>.<br/><br/></p><p>- Solid understanding of <b>Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)</b> stack and GATT profiles.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with <b>NDK/SDK integration and API communication with mobile apps</b>.<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with <b>RTOS, low-power design, and hardware debugging tools</b> (JTAG, oscilloscopes, analyzers).<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.<br/><br/><b>Good to Have :</b><br/><br/>- Experience in <b>fitness/wearable device firmware</b>.<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of <b>OTA updates, secure firmware design, and mobile BLE integration (Android/iOS)</b>.<br/><br/></p><p>- Exposure to <b>cloud connectivity for IoT devices</b>.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
