<p><p>Join us in bringing joy to customer experience.<br/><br/> Five9 is a leading provider of cloud contact center software, bringing the power of cloud innovation to customers worldwide.<br/><br/>Living our values everyday results in our team-first culture and enables us to innovate, grow, and thrive while enjoying the journey together.<br/><br/> We celebrate diversity and foster an inclusive environment, empowering our employees to be their authentic selves.</p><br/><p><b>About The Role :</b></p><br/><p>We are seeking a highly experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to implement and support our current and future DNS architecture in private/public cloud.<br/><br/> You will be directly responsible for ensuring the scalability, resilience, automation, and performance optimization of our DNS environment by leveraging Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Ansible, and Terraform, or Pulumi.<br/><br/>This is a deeply technical role requiring expert-level understanding of DNS, NTP, LDAP and extensive working knowledge on Linux Operating systems.<br/><br/> You will also collaborate with platform and SRE teams to maintain secure, performant, and multi-tenant-isolated services that serve high-throughput, mission-critical applications.<br/><br/>This position is based out of one of the offices of our affiliate Acqueon Technologies in India, and will adopt the hybrid work arrangements of that location.<br/><br/> You will be a member of the Acqueon team with responsibilities supporting Five9 products, collaborating with global teammates based primarily in the United States.</p><br/><p><b>Key Responsibilities :</b></p><br/><p>- Implement and support large scale DNS Architecture that stretches private & public cloud across multiple regions<br/><br/>- Implement and support Infoblox DDI solutions (DNS, IPAM, DHCP), Cloudflare DNS management, Google & AWS DNS services<br/><br/>- Implement and support highly reliable NTP and LDAP services on Linux instances<br/><br/>- Implement Infrastructure as code leveraging CI/CD automation, Ansible, Terraform/Pulumi, Python and Bash for automated provisioning of DNS services<br/><br/>- Be involved in Change management and Global team collaboration<br/><br/>- Implement continuous delivery pipelines for Infrastructure updates, including patch management, service upgrade testing, and rollback procedures<br/><br/>- Develop automated monitoring, alerting, and healing mechanisms using GitOps principles and observability stacks (i.e. Prometheus, Loki, Grafana)<br/><br/>- Harden services for high availability, disaster recovery, and scale-out operations<br/><br/>- Perform deep-dive troubleshooting and performance analysis of Infrastructure services across hypervisors, backend storage protocols and networking layers<br/><br/>- Participate in on-call rotation, incident response, and root cause analysis for platform reliability issues</p><br/><p><b>Minimum Qualifications :</b></p><br/><p>- 5+ in managing global DNS, NTP and LDAP systems on Linux Operating Systems<br/><br/>- Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code with Ansible, Terraform, or Pulumi<br/><br/>- Expertise with Infoblox DDI systems (or similar enterprise DNS systems), Bind9, CloudFlare, GCP and AWS DNS<br/><br/>- Working experience implementing OpenLDAP & NTP services (preferably Microchip SyncServer systems)<br/><br/>- Strong Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) systems engineering background with advanced scripting in Python, Bash, or Go<br/><br/>- Familiar with Cisco UCS Blade Servers (or similar server Infrastructure), Block/File Storage (Soft defined storage preferred)<br/><br/>- Fluency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated test frameworks<br/><br/>- Familiar with various Infrastructure technology stacks like Hypervisor Technologies (KVM, Vsphere,), storage protocols (SDS) (iSCSI, NFS, CEPH), L2/L3 Networking<br/><br/>- Strong experience supporting mission critical 24x7 customer facing production environments<br/><br/>- Demonstrated success building or maintaining multi-region or high-availability OpenStack clusters<br/><br/>- Ability to write technical documentation and contribute to community wikis or knowledge bases</p><br/><p><b>Preferred Qualifications :</b></p><br/><p>- Good understanding of overall Enterprise Common Infrastructure service implementations with focus on DNS, NTP & LDAP<br/><br/>- Understanding of security best practices for system patching and security compliance (i.e., CIS, NIST)<br/><br/>- Background in telco, edge cloud, or large enterprise infrastructure environments<br/><br/>- Experience building and maintaining automated test environments for system upgrades and DNS migrations<br/><br/>- Bachelors degree in computer science, IT, Engineering, or a related field preferred;
