<p><p>Living our values everyday results in our team-first culture and enables us to innovate, grow, and thrive while enjoying the journey together.<br/><br/> We celebrate diversity and foster an inclusive environment, empowering our employees to be their authentic selves.<br/><br/><b>The Team : </b><br/><br/>The Test Automation Engineer would be an active member of the Software Quality Engineering Organization, responsible for providing automation and test support for the software releases of Five9.<br/><br/>This position is based out of one of the offices of our affiliate Acqueon Technologies in India and will adopt the hybrid work arrangements of that location.<br/><br/> You will be a member of the Acqueon team with responsibilities supporting Five9 products, collaborating with global teammates primarily based in the United States.<br/><br/><b>Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/>- Automated testing of Five9 product using Python-based automation framework.<br/><br/>- New test script development for end-to-end product testing using the automation framework.<br/><br/>- Test result analysis for executed tests using test framework logs, product logs, and monitoring tools.<br/><br/>- Support and extend the automation framework.<br/><br/>- Develop new automation tools.<br/><br/>- Identify weak points in existing automated processes and workflows, eliminate inefficiencies, and monitor improvements.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with Development, DevOps, and TechOps teams to align goals and priorities for the Test Automation Group.<br/><br/>- Participate in Agile software development initiatives (standups, planning, increment planning) to support innovation and enhancement of automation framework and tools through iterative testing.<br/><br/><b>Required Skills : </b><br/><br/>- Hands-on experience with Python 3x and/or Java.<br/><br/>- Solid understanding of programming techniques and algorithms (OOP, multithreading).<br/><br/>- Proficient with Linux-based OSes.<br/><br/>- Strong knowledge of VoIP, SIP, WebRTC architecture, and microservice-based web technology.<br/><br/>- Hands-on experience with Asterisk or FreeSwitch PBX.<br/><br/>- Network troubleshooting experience (understanding of OSI model, real-time protocols, network management protocols).<br/><br/>- 3+ years of experience in similar automation roles.<br/><br/>- In-depth knowledge of software development processes and testing methodologies.<br/><br/>- Excellent team player with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.<br/><br/>- Practical experience with MySQL.<br/><br/>- Experience with version control and bug-tracking systems (JIRA, Git, etc.<br/><br/><b>Desirable Skills : </b><br/><br/>- Experience in REST API automation and/or SDK interfaces (Java, Python, C++, etc.<br/><br/>- Strong interpersonal, reliable, and communication skills.<br/><br/>- Proactive in exploring new automation opportunities.<br/><br/>- Experience with AWS/GCP automation frameworks for CI/CD processes.<br/><br/>- Experience in test automation for cloud computing solutions (private or public).<br/><br/>- Docker experience and a good understanding of container-based approaches.<br/><br/>- Solid knowledge of Web UI Automation using tools like Selenium.<br/><br/><b>Diversity & Inclusion : </b><br/><br/>Five9 embraces diversity and is committed to building a team that represents a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills.<br/><br/> The more inclusive we are, the better we are.<br/><br/> Five9 is an equal opportunity employer</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
