<p><p><b>About The Position</b><br/><br/>The SAP Director will be responsible for the architecture, design, implementation, and management of SAP solutions supporting Fluences business processes and strategies.<br/><br/>You will collaborate closely with other Architects, Development Teams, Business Analysts, and our business partners, to ensure solutions are delivered in a scalable manner and on-time while supporting products that are changing the world.<br/><br/>Along with other leads, you will be responsible for technical designs, architecture, and design.<br/><br/>A potential candidate needs a strong foundation in software development & integrations, with a background in SAP and related SAP systems along with other enterprise applications.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities Include:</b><br/><br/>- Manage Technical architecture analysis, research, design and development of new functionality and integration with key applications and services under SAP ecosystems.<br/><br/>- Participate in product roadmap and product strategy definition.<br/><br/>- Develop the design and architecture of integration solutions, including data mapping, transformation, and API management.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to evaluate business activities, design, and develop solutions to meet the needs.<br/><br/>- Guide the engineering team to develop, configure and implement the solution as per the product development standards to meet business requirements.<br/><br/>- Monitor the work of the technical team and ensure standards are adhered to in accordance with SAPs Solution Extensions.<br/><br/>- Monitor compliance and related guidance (such as data retention and audit requirements) to determine impact on enterprise architecture;.<br/><br/>- Monitor emerging industry standards to determine impact on enterprise architecture;.<br/><br/>- Monitor regulatory guidelines (such as consumer privacy issues) to determine impact on enterprise architecture;.<br/><br/>- Work with and advise the QA team on the design of test plans, test cases and on automation.<br/><br/>- Help and review with the creation of training, product, and solution documentation.<br/><br/>- Performing integration architecture and infrastructure design activities.<br/><br/>- Participate in resolving technology integration problems.<br/><br/>- Define the overall integration strategy and roadmap for connecting SAP systems with external applications, data sources, and platforms.<br/><br/>- Provide training to internal teams on using and maintaining integration solutions.<br/><br/>- Supporting help desk and business on various technical issues.<br/><br/>- Communicate sophisticated technical solutions into simple conclusions.<br/><br/><b>What will our ideal candidate bring to Fluence?</b><br/><br/>- Experience designing and implementing Solution Architecture practices;.<br/><br/>- Strong SAP Functional knowledge or SAP Basis background;.<br/><br/>- Ability to analyze project, program and portfolio needs;.<br/><br/>- Ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence;.<br/><br/>- Implementation, upgrade and support of the latest SAP systems versions,.<br/><br/>- Deep understanding of Application development and application life cycle management;.<br/><br/>- Knowledge of project planning and management, including scope, time and resource management;.<br/><br/>- Good understanding of IT infrastructure and cloud technologies;.<br/><br/>- 8+ years work experience in SAP product consulting, systems integration, or architect role.<br/><br/>- 5+ years Integration Engineering Architecture experience in large Enterprises with technologies such as SAP PI/PO, SAP Integration Suite, BOOMI, MuleSoft, Workato.<br/><br/>- 7+ years of experience with multiple SAP technologies (i.e S/4HANA, ABAP, IDOC, BAPI, Data Integration / Migration, Business Technology Platform).<br/><br/>- 5+ years of software development experience in major software development languages /platforms (JAVA/.net/Python).<br/><br/>- Good understanding of SAP best practices.<br/><br/>- Must have excellent expertise in ABAP development with very good understanding of SAP modules such as Finance, MM, PP, QM, SD, PLM, and APO.<br/><br/>- Must have extensive development experience using ABAP objects, HANA SQL Programming, SAP Fiori Developments, OData developments.<br/><br/>- Demonstrated knowledge of SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) based design & development and ABAP Restful Programming Model.<br/><br/>- Experience working with interfaces in addition to Web Services, such as Java connectors and Rest APIs communicating with non-SAP applications.<br/><br/>- Experience with SAP security concepts and must have implemented authorization checks in ABAP objects.<br/><br/>- Experience in working with SAP Cloud technologies like SAC and other SAP Cloud technologies.<br/><br/>- Comfortable conducting solution demos and presentations to customers/business stake holders/architects.<br/><br/>- Exposure to compliance regulations like GDPR, ITAR and Export Compliance is a plus.<br/><br/>- Able to report both verbally and in writing to executive level.<br/><br/>- Experience in Cloud native integration in Azure, Google Cloud, AWS.<br/><br/>- Experience with EDI-B2B communication: SAP B2B Add-on, SPS, Trading Partner Management, Integration Advisor and EDI Message Tracking.<br/><br/>- Experience with data integration: SAP Data Intelligence, Data Services or SAP SLT.<br/><br/>- Exposure to modern integration architecture including Kubernetes, Microservices and service mesh.<br/><br/>- Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field (e.g, Computer Science, Information Systems).<br/><br/>- Experience working in Agile & Waterfall environments.<br/><br/>- Understanding of Software development lifecycle (SDLC).<br/><br/>- Ability to affect positive change, empower people, cultivate product technology visions and innovative solutions.<br/><br/>- Working knowledge of master data
