<p><p><b>Role Description:</b><br/><br/>We are seeking a dynamic Business Manager to serve as a strategic business partner, driving the execution of key initiatives while ensuring operational excellence and financial accountability.<br/><br/>The Business Manager acts as the operational backbone for the Technology, Operations, and Delivery functions respectively - ensuring that priorities, plans, governance, financials, and communications are effectively coordinated and executed in support of the Group Heads.<br/><br/><b>Key Planning & Execution:</b><br/><br/>- Partner with Technology business leaders to develop and refine strategic initiatives aligned with FNZ's overall objectives.<br/><br/>- Drive end-to-end execution of Technology strategic projects, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within scope.<br/><br/>- Create detailed Technology project plans, identify dependencies, and manage cross-functional workstreams.<br/><br/>- Monitor progress against strategic KPIs and provide regular updates to stakeholders.<br/><br/><b>Business Performance Management:</b><br/><br/>- Lead monthly/quarterly business reviews for Group Technology, preparing comprehensive performance dashboards and insights.<br/><br/>- Analyse business metrics, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions or optimization opportunities.<br/><br/>- Facilitate review meetings with Technology senior leadership members, ensuring actionable outcomes and follow-up.<br/><br/>- Develop and maintain standardized reporting frameworks across the business unit.<br/><br/><b>Financial Planning & Cost Management:</b><br/><br/>- Collaborate with Technology business owners to develop annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.<br/><br/>- Track and analyze Technology cost performance against budget, identifying variances and underlying drivers.<br/><br/>- Partner with Finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.<br/><br/>- Support business case development for new initiatives, including ROI analysis and risk assessment.<br/><br/><b>Stakeholder Management & Communication:</b><br/><br/>- Serve as primary liaison between the Group Technology Function and corporate functions (Finance, HR, Legal, IT).<br/><br/>- Build strong relationships across all organizational levels to facilitate smooth project execution.<br/><br/>- Communicate complex business information clearly to diverse audiences.<br/><br/>- Coordinate with other Technology Managers to share best practices and ensure consistency.<br/><br/>Excellent project management capabilities with experience using project management required:</b><br/><br/><b>Essential Qualifications:</b><br/><br/>- Bachelors degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, or related field.<br/><br/>- 3-5 years of experience in Fintech / IT business management, strategy consulting, or financial planning roles.<br/><br/>- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.<br/><br/>- Advanced Excel skills; experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) preferred.<br/><br/><b>Key Skills & Competencies:</b><br/><br/>- Broad business management expertise across multiple function in Tech company.<br/><br/>- Strategic thinking with ability to translate vision into executable plans.<br/><br/>- Strong financial acumen and understanding of P&L management.<br/><br/>- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.<br/><br/>- Proven ability to influence and collaborate across all organizational levels.<br/><br/>- Results driven, detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.<br/><br/>- Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.<br/><br/><b>Preferred Qualifications:</b><br/><br/>- MBA or professional qualification (CFA, CPA, CIMA).<br/><br/>- Experience in financial services or fintech industry.<br/><br/>- Knowledge of regulatory requirements in financial services.<br/><br/>- Experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).<br/><br/><b>About FNZ:</b><br/><br/>FNZ is committed to opening up wealth so that everyone, everywhere can invest in their future on their terms.<br/><br/>We know the foundation to do that already exists in the wealth management industry, but complexity holds firms back.<br/><br/>We created wealths growth platform to help.<br/><br/>We provide a global, end-to-end wealth management platform that integrates modern technology with business and investment operations.<br/><br/>All in a regulated financial institution.<br/><br/>We partner with over 650 financial institutions and 12,000 wealth managers, with US$1.<br/><br/>7 trillion in assets under administration (AUA).<br/><br/>Together with our customers, we help over 26 million people from all wealth segments to invest in their future.<br/></p><br/></p> (ref:iimjobs.com)
