<p><b>Job Description :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>We are looking for top-talent for our engineering team - innovators and ideators; software engineers who want to solve complex problems, engineer elegant/powerful/robust solutions, and continually upskill themselves.
This role offers the opportunity to get in on the ground floor of our product development practise by being one of the initial core members of our software engineering team, with unlimited growth potential.<br/><br/><b>Responsibilities : </b></p><p><br/>- Lead the process of architecture, design and development of the platform's UI and frontend services.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with internal/external business and product teams to understand our requirements.<br/><br/>- Build robust, well-abstracted and scalable modules.<br/><br/>- Ensure platform scalability, security, stability, and performance.<br/><br/>- Oversee the process for conducting code/design-reviews, leading to a fault tolerant and error free codebase.<br/><br/>- Implement components that are efficient and reusable.<br/><br/>- Follow scrum methodology to iterate and deploy rapidly in a CI/CD environment.<br/><br/>- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers and colleagues.<br/><br/>- Contribute to documentation, process improvement and procedures.<br/><br/>- Improve organizational productivity by investing in tools, frameworks and internal products.<br/><br/><b>Requirements :<br/></b><br/>- 4+ years of software development experience, with an emphasis on frontend development.<br/><br/>- The ability to conceptualize, build, test and deploy complex, responsive and performant web application features.<br/><br/>- Very strong experience in React, including latest features like functional components, concurrency, error boundaries, state management techniques, etc.<br/><br/>- An in-depth understanding of web technologies - REST, JavaScript, scalable CSS, HTML5, JSON and beyond.<br/><br/>- Thorough understanding of asynchronous JavaScript.<br/><br/>- Good understanding of Git as a version control system.<br/><br/>- Understanding of the intricacies of consuming and interacting with REST APIs.<br/><br/>- Experience with medium to large-scale web applications built with modern technology stacks.<br/><br/>- Strong knowledge of user interface design principles.<br/><br/>- Good aesthetic and design sense, and experience turning mock-ups/wireframes/design templates into visually elegant web applications.<br/><br/>- Extraordinary attention to detail and are a huge proponent of great UX.<br/><br/>- The ability to take ownership of a complex feature or project and independently execute it in an end-to-end manner.<br/><br/>- BE/MS required; Computer Science / Information Science & Technology preferred.<br/><br/>- You LOVE to code.</p> (ref:hirist.tech)
