<p><p>We are looking for a Technical Lead - Frontend (Next.js) who will play a pivotal role in architecting, developing, and scaling modern web applications.
As a frontend lead, you will guide a team of engineers, drive best practices, and deliver high-performance, secure, and maintainable solutions for enterprise-scale projects.<br/><br/>This is an opportunity to work with cutting-edge Next.js, React, and modern frontend ecosystems, leading implementations that power exceptional digital experiences.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/><b>Leadership & Architecture : </b><br/><br/>- Lead a team of frontend engineers, provide technical direction, mentorship, and conduct regular code/design reviews.<br/><br/>- Define, design, and enforce scalable frontend architecture leveraging Next.js (App Router, SSR, SSG, ISR) and React ecosystem.<br/><br/>- Partner with product managers, backend engineers, and UX/UI teams to design high-performance, cross-platform applications.<br/><br/><b>Development & Delivery : </b><br/><br/>- Architect and develop highly performant, SEO-optimized, and accessible web applications using Next.js.<br/><br/>- Implement state management patterns (Redux, Zustand, Recoil, or Context API) for large-scale applications.<br/><br/>- Drive best practices for CI/CD, automated testing, and code quality standards.<br/><br/>- Ensure cross-browser, cross-device compatibility and pixel-perfect UI aligned with design systems.<br/><br/><b>Innovation & Problem Solving</b><br/><br/>- Stay ahead with modern frontend trends : Server Components, Edge rendering, micro-frontends, modular architecture.<br/><br/>- Optimize performance through lazy loading, dynamic imports, caching strategies, and Core Web Vitals optimization.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with DevOps teams for cloud-native deployment (AWS/GCP/Azure/Vercel) and observability (monitoring, logging).<br/><br/><b>Required Skills & Experience : </b><br/><br/>- 8+ years of professional experience in frontend engineering, with at least 3+ years in Next.js and React.<br/><br/>- Proven expertise in Next.js 13+ features (App Router, Server Components, Middleware, API Routes).<br/><br/>- Strong in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript with deep knowledge of React Hooks, Context, and ecosystem libraries.<br/><br/>- Hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS, TailwindCSS, Styled Components.<br/><br/>- Proficiency in RESTful APIs, GraphQL (Apollo/Urql), WebSockets.<br/><br/>- Strong understanding of frontend performance optimization, caching, CDN strategies, and Core Web Vitals.<br/><br/>- Experience with automated testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Playwright).<br/><br/>- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).<br/><br/>- Strong knowledge of frontend security practices (XSS, CSRF, CSP, OWASP guidelines).<br/><br/><b>Preferred / Nice to Have : </b><br/><br/>- Experience with Micro-frontend architectures.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with Headless CMS platforms (Contentful, Strapi, Sanity, Sitecore, etc.).<br/><br/>- Exposure to Analytics/Tracking tools (Google Analytics, GTM, Segment).<br/><br/>- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.<br/><br/>- Experience mentoring teams and setting up frontend guilds or CoEs (Centers of Excellence).</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
