This role requires an ongoing, comprehensive understanding of the Salesforce Cloud ecosystem to successfully design and implement complex solutions that meet critical business objectives.

The Consultant will leverage expertise in Apex, Lightning Components, SFDC APIs, and integration technologies (REST/SOAP) to simplify integrations and enhance capabilities across various Salesforce Clouds (Sales, Service, Marketing, etc.), acting as a key technical SME and adhering to configuration over customization best practices.</p><br/><p><b>Job Description :</b></p><br/><p><b>Solution Design and Platform Expertise :</b></p><br/><p>- Act as the technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) and solution expert for the Salesforce platform, maintaining an ongoing comprehensive understanding of the cloud-computing ecosystem.</p><br/><p>- Engage closely with Solution Architects to design scalable capabilities, leveraging various Salesforce Cloud platforms, including but not limited to Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Commerce Cloud.</p><br/><p>- Responsible for successfully designing and implementing complex solutions using the platform's core technologies, including Apex programming language, Visualforce, and Lightning/Lightning Components.</p><br/><p>- Analyze business requirements and translate them into comprehensive solutions that are flexible, adaptable, and prioritize a configuration over customization approach, adhering to industry best practices.</p><br/><p><b>Technical Development and Integration :</b></p><br/><p>- Demonstrate proficiency in programming languages essential to the platform, specifically Apex, Visualforce, and JavaScript.</p><br/><p>- Utilize expert knowledge of SFDC APIs, SOSL, SOQL, and REST or SOAP-based web services to integrate Salesforce with other internal and external systems.</p><br/><p>- Implement sophisticated integration solutions, leveraging knowledge of middleware tools like MuleSoft or Salesforce Integration Cloud.</p><br/><p>- Apply knowledge of foundational web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React) to enhance front-end component development.</p><br/><p>- Use and adhere to standard version control systems (e.g., Git) for collaborative development and code management.</p><br/><p><b>Configuration, Quality Assurance, and SDLC :</b></p><br/><p>- Maintain in-depth understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, data model, and security model to design robust and compliant solutions.</p><br/><p>- Lead customization and configuration efforts, including defining custom Salesforce objects, layouts, automation (workflows, process builder, flow), validation rules, and triggers.</p><br/><p>- Conduct thorough unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the high quality, stability, and reliability of developed solutions.</p><br/><p>- Collaborate with Technical Leaders, Business Partners, and Developers, applying strong communication skills in technical discussions and presentations.</p><br/><p>- Adhere to software development best practices, including estimating work and test-driven development practices.</p><br/><p><b>Required Skills & Qualifications :</b></p><br/><p>- <b>Experience :</b> Mandatory 5+ years relevant experience, with a minimum of 3 years as a Salesforce Developer.</p><br/><p>- <b>Salesforce Core :</b> Proficiency in Apex programming language, Salesforce Lightning and Lightning Components, and strong knowledge of various Salesforce Cloud platforms.</p><br/><p>- <b>Architecture :</b> In-depth understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, data model, and security model.</p><br/><p>- <b>Development :</b> Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, and JavaScript, and experience with SFDC APIs, SOSL, SOQL, SOAP or REST based web services.</p><br/><p>- <b>Integration :</b> Experience in integrating Salesforce with other business systems, including familiarity with REST and SOAP APIs and middleware concepts.</p><br/><p>- <b>Testing :</b> Thorough testing and debugging skills (unit, SIT, UAT).</p><br/><p>- <b>Compliance :</b> Adherence to best practices including configuration over customization and test-driven development.</p><br/><p><b>Preferred Skills :</b></p><br/><p>- <b>Certification :</b> Earned and maintained Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II, Consultant certifications).</p><br/><p>- <b>Specific Functionality :</b> Experience in CTI integration, email automation, self-service portals, and knowledge management.</p><br/><p>- <b>Tools :</b> Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).</p><br/><p>- <b>Leadership :</b> Prior experience serving in a release manager capacity for coordinating deployments across environments.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
