**About the role:**

We’re looking for a hands-on full stack developer with 3–4 years’ experience to build and run microservices and UI components for our Data Platform.

You’ll write Java services, build simple UIs (React preferred, Angular, or similar OK), deploy to Kubernetes, and work with AWS and Databricks.

You’ll be contributing code, shipping features, and learning the platform alongside senior engineers.



**Your Day to Day**



As a **Full Stack Developer – Data Platform** , you would be:



+ Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services with Java & Spring Boot.

+ Build lightweight frontend components in React (preferred) or Angular/Angular/ any other similar UI framework.

+ Build RESTful APIs and evolve microservices that are simple, scalable, and reliable.

+ Write clean, well-documented code and participate in code reviews and architecture discussions.

+ Work with containerized deployments on Kubernetes and Docker; manage Helm charts

+ Help build and run data workflows that touch Databricks / Spark jobs; collaborate with data engineers.

+ Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).

+ Collaborate closely with product, data, and security teams.



**What We’re Looking For**



As a **Full Stack Developer – Data Platform,** your background will look like



+ 3–4 years of professional software engineering experience.

+ Strong complex problem-solving abilities, with a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.

+ Proficient in object-oriented design and development using Java and Spring Boot technologies.

+ Frontend experience with React (preferred), Angular, or a similar framework.

+ Experience developing microservices and RESTful APIs.

+ Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.

+ Practical knowledge of AWS core services, such as S3, IAM, EKS, Lambda, or equivalents.

+ Familiarity with event-driven architectures and message brokers (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis, SNS, SQS).

+ Strong testing and debugging skills, including unit and basic integration testing.

+ Comfortable working with Git and collaborative development workflows.



**Nice-to-have (good to have):**



+ Familiarity with Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake, or ETL pipelines.

+ Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform).

+ Experience with container tooling and Helm.

+ Basic SQL and data modeling skills.

+ Exposure to observability tooling (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).

+ Experience with CI/CD tooling and automating deployments.
