<p><p>Experience: 5-8 years</p><p><b><br/></b></p><p><p><b>The Role :</b></p><p><br/>Own reliability, performance, and security across a microservices product that includes a Backend API, Frontend Web App, Chrome Extension, and Admin systemdeployed on VPS infrastructure.
Youll troubleshoot production issues, ship features end-to-end, and integrate AI where it moves the needle.
We value engineers who ramp fast, require minimal hand-holding, and think creatively under real-world Youll Do :</b><br/><br/>- Ship end-to-end: Drive requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and iteration across web and backend.<br/><br/>- Harden & scale: Monitor live systems; improve latency, throughput, cost, and security.<br/><br/>- Automate quality: Maintain CI/CD, enforce code standards, expand automated tests.<br/><br/>- Modernize legacy: Diagnose, refactor, and extend existing components while preserving backward compatibility.<br/><br/>- Own multiple streams: Prioritize and deliver concurrent initiatives with minimal supervision.<br/><br/>- Extend the browser: Build and maintain MV3 Chrome extensions (Quasar BEX), including store publishing and updates.<br/><br/>- Integrate AI: Embed LLM/NLP capabilities into user flows and services where they drive impact.<br/><br/>- Operate with insight: Set up logs, metrics, and alerts for fast detection and response.<br/><br/>- Manage data lifecycle: Plan migrations, backups, and restores.<br/><br/>- Codify infra: Define repeatable environments with Experience :</b></p><p><br/>- Languages & Frameworks: JavaScript (ES6+), Node.js, Express.js, Vue 3 (with Options API), Quasar, Python (FastAPI/Flask) or PHP (Laravel/Symfony)</p><br/>- Browser Extensions: Chrome Web Store (MV3), packaging/publishing/maintenance; strong Chrome experience<br/><br/>- Frontend: HTML5, CSS3<br/><br/>- Data & Messaging: MongoDB (Mongoose), Redis, RabbitMQ, ClickHouse<br/><br/>- Cloud & DevOps: VPS hosting, Docker Compose, Ubuntu LTS, reverse proxy/web server<br/><br/>- CI/CD & Quality: Git (feature branches), ESLint/Prettier, automated testing frameworks<br/><br/>- Observability: Practical logs/metrics/tracing (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, Redash)<br/><br/>- LLM/NLP: Hands-on integration of large language models or NLP toolkits in to Have :</b><br/><br/>- IaC: Working knowledge of templating/tooling to define infra<br/><br/>- DB Ops: Comfortable with schema migrations and backup/restore workflows<br/><br/>- Accessibility: Semantic markup, keyboard navigation, ARIA where appropriate<br/><br/>- Ecosystem Familiarity (examples): AJV, express-rate-limit, helmet, cors, winston, node-cron, lodash, moment/moment-timezone, crypto-js, nanoid, Pinia, Ky, shepherd.js, vuedraggable, papaparse, Chart.js/Vue-chartjs, Quasar plugins/extras, csv-parse, class-variance-authority, clsx, lucide-vue-next, radix-vue, Skills :</b></p><p><br/>- Sharp analytical thinking; strong debugging instincts</p><br/>- Clear, concise communication (written and verbal)<br/><br/>- Proven leadership/mentorship; raises the bar for peers<br/><br/>- Comfortable juggling priorities and delivering under tight Experience :</b><br/><br/>- Stripe, SendGrid, EmailOctopus, or similar integrations<br/><br/>- node_exporter and broader monitoring stack familiarity<br/><br/>- Background in social media : </b>Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred)</p></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
