We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of a Senior Software Engineer

In this role, you will:


As a key member of the technical team alongside Engineers, Data Scientists and Data Users, you will be expected to define and contribute at a high-level to many aspects of our collaborative Agile development process:

+ Advocate for and implement best practices in UX design, accessibility, and usability.

+ Develop responsive, accessible, real-time and pixel-perfect user interfaces using React, NextJS and WebSockets.

+ Write clean, maintainable, and scalable css and themes for MUI components and various vendor UI components.

+ Work on both front-end and back-end development tasks, ensuring seamless integration between the UI and server-side logic.

+ Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

+ Test UI features, Usability and data correctness.

Debug and resolve issues efficiently.

+ Writing clear and concise documentation.

+ Take end-to-end responsibility for full lifecycle of feature development.

+ General operational excellence.

This includes good troubleshooting skills, understanding of system’s capacity and bottlenecks.

Furthermore, you also need a basic understanding of Micro Service architecture.




To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

+ Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to a complex environment

+ Solid and proficient skills in UX design, React, NextJS, CSS, Material UI

+ Competency in backend application development using Scala and Spring Boot.

+ Experience in working on Cloud platforms like GCP will be a plus.

+ Basic Knowledge of SQL/Postgres.

+ Experience working with graph data will be a plus.

+ Knowledge of using Git, Maven, Shell scripting, Python.

+ Experience in HDFS/Hive/Spark will be a plus.

+ Software development experience and SDLC, Agile & DevOps, CI/CD
