Role Summary

As a Full Stack Developer for VCOMERZ, you will design, develop, and maintain both backend and frontend components of our SaaS platform.

You'll work on scalable features like real-time store customization, payment processing, and POS integrations, ensuring high performance, security, and user-friendly interfaces.

This role is perfect for a versatile developer passionate about e-commerce and building intuitive retail tools.

Key Responsibilities

- Backend Development: Build and optimize server-side logic using Java and Spring Boot, including APIs for features like user authentication, product management, and multi-branch synchronization.

- Database Management: Design and implement efficient data models in Postgres, handling queries for unlimited products/customers, real-time inventory sync, and analytics.

- Frontend Development: Create responsive, dynamic user interfaces with Next.Js, React.Js, Tailwind CSS, and TypeScript, focusing on no-code tools like template editors and voice commerce prompts.

- Full Stack Integration: Ensure seamless connectivity between frontend and backend, including payment gateway APIs (e.G., Stripe) and third-party services for delivery and global sales.

- Performance and Security: Optimize code for speed (e.G., 15-minute store deployment), implement security best practices (e.G., GDPR compliance, SCA for payments), and conduct code reviews.

- Testing and Deployment: Collaborate on unit/integration tests, debug issues, and deploy updates using CI/CD pipelines.

- Innovation and Maintenance: Contribute to feature roadmaps (e.G., enhancing voice commerce), fix bugs post-launch, and monitor platform performance for scalability.

Required Skills and Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- 3+ years of full stack development experience, with proven projects in e-commerce or SaaS environments.

- Backend Expertise: Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for building RESTful APIs, microservices, and handling complex data flows.

- Database Skills: Strong experience with Postgres, including schema design, indexing, and optimization for high-volume retail data.

- Frontend Expertise: Advanced knowledge of Next.Js, React.Js, Tailwind CSS, and TypeScript for creating responsive, component-based UIs.

- Integration and Tools: Familiarity with API integrations (e.G., Stripe, delivery services), version control (Git), and agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills, with a focus on delivering user-centric solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with retail/e-commerce platforms (e.G., similar to Shopify) or POS systems.

- Knowledge of cloud services (e.G., AWS/Azure) for deployment and scaling.

- Familiarity with additional tools like Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD (e.G., Jenkins).

- Understanding of accessibility standards and SEO best practices for web apps.

- Passion for startups and contributing to product launches in the SaaS space.
