Onni Group is seeking a highly skilled and innovative
GenAI Engineer
to join our technology team.
This role focuses on designing, developing, and deploying
Generative AI (GenAI)
solutions using cutting-edge
Large Language Models (LLMs)
and related technologies.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in
LLM fine-tuning, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) , and building production-ready AI applications.
This position offers an opportunity to collaborate with global teams across product, engineering, and UX to create scalable, responsible, and high-performing AI systems.
Key Responsibilities Model Development & Integration Research, fine-tune, and integrate
Large Language Models (LLMs)
such as GPT, Llama, Claude, and others.
Design and build
GenAI-powered applications
for text, code, and multimodal use cases.
Develop and deploy
RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)
pipelines using vector databases.
AI Application Engineering Collaborate with product, engineering, and UX teams to build scalable AI-driven applications.
Evaluate and optimize
model performance, latency, and cost
for production-grade systems.
Implement responsible AI practices to mitigate bias, hallucination, and privacy risks.
Experimentation & Innovation Conduct AI experimentation for automation and process improvement using tools like
LangChain ,
AutoGen , or
ReAct .
Stay current with emerging trends, open-source frameworks, and APIs in the
GenAI ecosystem .
Document and communicate findings, improvements, and best practices.
Qualifications
Education & Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in
Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field .
3–5 years of professional experience
in
AI/ML engineering
or
GenAI development
roles.
Technical Skills Strong understanding of
Natural Language Processing (NLP) ,
deep learning , and
transformer-based architectures .
Proficiency in
Python
and familiarity with
REST APIs
and orchestration tools.
Experience with
GenAI frameworks
such as
LangChain ,
LlamaIndex ,
Haystack , or
Hugging Face .
Knowledge of
prompt engineering ,
fine-tuning (LoRA, PEFT) , and
safety alignment .
Familiarity with
LLMOps tools
(e.g., Weights & Biases, PromptLayer, BentoML) is an asset.
Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and product teams.
Passion for continuous learning and innovation in the AI/ML domain.
