Role: Lead / Senior Associate –GIS

Location : Pune (Baner)

Work Mode : WFO ( 5 days )

Job Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure project deliverables.
2. Monitor project progress and resolve technical issues.
3. Lead the design and development of GIS solutions and applications tailored to organizational needs.
4. Onboard talented GIS developers, provide mentorship and develop team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
5. Oversee the implementation of web-based GIS systems and services.
6. Supervise GIS developers, analysts, and technicians.
7. Provide training to team members.
8. Fluency in ESRI suite of software, including ArcGIS Pro, Web App Builder Developer and custom widgets development.
9. Conduct rigorous testing of GIS applications and data outputs.
10. Ensure compliance with organizational standards and geospatial data accuracy.
11. Explore new GIS tools, technologies, and trends to enhance organizational capabilities.
12. Recommend innovative solutions for complex geospatial challenges.
13. Define and implement the technical architecture for GIS applications
14. Explore new GIS tools, technologies, and trends to enhance organizational capabilities.
15. Recommend innovative solutions for complex geospatial challenges.
16. Generate analytical reports, visualizations, and maps for decision-making.
17. Prepare detailed project documentation, including system architecture and user manuals.
18. Experience working with spatial datasets like GeoJSON, SQL Server Spatial, Esri ArcSDE, file geodatabases, shapefiles or KML.
    
    
19. Should be able to work for front end Web App Integration and back-end end-to-end development.
    
    Ability to Create UI with ArcGIS WebApp Builder frame work, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Bootstrap
20. Developing and maintaining links between various databases and simple applications and scripts, and uses existing scripts in ArcPy, XML Parsing, SQL, and ETL toolsets like FME.
21. Create and maintain custom scripts and routines for GIS processes automation and applications using ArcGIS API for Python and arcpy.
22. Enterprise RDBMS databases using SQL development environments.
23. knowledge about GIS – CRS, Datum etc.

24. Maintain and develop GIS applications using c#, built with ArcGIS extensions, ArcServer and OpenLayers.

Detail Description:

1. Hands on knowledge of developing, designing and implementing enterprise integration solutions for ArcGIS Enterprise using JavaScript and Hands on experience in ESRI Technology
2. Well versed with ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise infrastructure including ArcGIS Server, Portal for ArcGIS, and ArcGIS Date Store;
   Experience managing multiuser GIS licenses, systems, databases, and environments.
3. Worked on web-based GIS system using 2D and 3D data (well versed with publishing data over the web as a service).
4. Use strong expertise in various GIS software (primarily ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise, Portal, ArcGIS Online and WebAppBuilder), as well as various geographic data formats and standard data conversion and transformation methods, for geographic analysis.
5. Knowledge of the development and management required for REST and SOAP implementations and understanding of SOA and Enterprise service bus.
6. Building custom GIS tools and applications for spatial analysis, visualization, and data management.
7. Developing responsive and user-friendly GIS interfaces using web technologies.
8. Conducting advanced spatial analyses, including buffering, geocoding, and network analysis.
9. Managing large datasets, ensuring accuracy, and integrating with various GIS platforms.
10. Integrating GIS systems with enterprise systems like SAP, ERP, and CRM.
11. Ensuring interoperability between different GIS tools and platforms.
12. Acting as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders.
13. Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to analyze and document complex business processes and project details.
14. Must have a passion for designing and coding;
    should be innovative inapproach.
    
    
15. Hands on knowledge in cross browser compatible application development.
16. Should be able to work with team spirit, share knowledge and learn with the team.
17. Should be able to work on more than one project at a time.
    
    Should be able to ensure the timely completion of tasks.

APIs: ESRI JavaScript API 3.X & 4.X, Portal for ArcGIS Rest API, Arc Objects for .Net (ArcMap & ArcGIS Pro), API for python

Database: PostgreSQL & PG Admin, SQL server or Oracle Spatial

Languages: Developing in Python, Arcpy, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, C# and .Net;
Expertise with Flask, JQuery, ArcGIS, JavaScript API, API for Python REST and deployment with IIS
