                <p><p><b>About Equilibrium : </b><br/><br/>Equilibrium, a Climes spin-off, is Indias leading climate-tech company (backed by Sequoia India, now Peak XV), facilitating large-scale financing into building and scaling nature-based carbon sinks in the Global South.
The company originates and aggregates high-quality projects that include a combination of nature-based solutions like agroforestry and regenerative agriculture.
With an aim to make carbon projects bankable, the projects are designed with an emphasis on technology, robust research and expert implementation partnerships.
With over 100K farmers in the pipeline, and 150k ha; designated for these projects, Equilibrium is building a pipeline of about 1M carbon-credits annually.
By prioritising permanent carbon removal, Equilibrium is creating impact that ripples through ecosystems, economies and communities.<br/><br/>We are seeking a highly competent and driven individual to join our team as a Full Stack Engineer.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/>Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to the following : <br/><br/>- Build workflows to pull data from the dMRV database to run calculations <br/><br/>- Support our science and engineering teams to develop and maintain GIS workflows<br/><br/>- Analyze calculated data to support the dMRV audit flow<br/><br/>- Build simple dashboards using our internal tools into the dMRV solution<br/><br/>- Develop and maintain secure server-side applications using Node.js and Python<br/><br/>- Work with SQL databases and handle data modeling, migrations, and optimizations<br/><br/>- Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, from design to deployment<br/><br/>- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines<br/><br/>- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code & participate in code reviews<br/><br/>- Contribute to technical architecture decisions and best practices<br/><br/><b>Ideal Candidate Profile : </b><br/><br/>A successful applicant must have the following : <br/><br/>- Minimum 2+ years of full-time experience with GIS toolsets<br/><br/>- Some proficiency in Python based GIS libraries and Pandas<br/><br/>- Experience with ArcGIS, QGIS, and Google Earth Engine<br/><br/>- Javascript/Typescript experience is a plus<br/><br/>- Proficiency in working with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM tools like Drizzle, Prisma is a plus<br/><br/>- Experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure is a plus<br/><br/>- Strong command of version control using Git and Linux/Unix environments<br/><br/>- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and communication and collaboration abilities<br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
