GIS Solution Architect

Job description

We are on the lookout for a highly skilled GIS Solution Architect to spearhead the design and implementation of an innovative Location Management Solution, integral to the development of our next-generation Smart Data Platform.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and finalize sophisticated Location and Address Data Model designs
• Design and implement the Integrated Property system, aligning it seamlessly with business objectives
• Precisely define Enterprise API requirements and seamlessly integrate these with the Location Management product
• Provide clear project timelines, milestones, and cost assessments, working closely with delivery teams
• Guarantee that solutions maintain adherence to established architecture patterns from the design phase through to implementation
• Work from the office 3 days per week

Requirements

• 10+ years’ experience with geospatial technologies, including GIS systems, application development, and spatial databases
• Demonstrable proficiency in Java, Microsoft development platforms, web services, and APIs
• Hands-on experience with cloud services such as AWS or GCP
• Robust expertise in Oracle, SQL Server, and PostGIS
• Solid track record in analyzing, designing, and delivering comprehensive enterprise-level GIS and non-GIS applications
• Expertise in designing GIS solutions that integrate smoothly with enterprise systems
• Strong capability in producing clear and comprehensive business requirements, technical specifications, and design documents
