Platform Management & Operations : </b><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and health of the QE Tooling platform, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Monitor the platform's health and performance using GCP logging and monitoring tools.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Regularly verify GKE cluster health, K8s pods, and overall GCP console service health.<br/><br/><b>2.
Deployment & Release Management : </b><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Manage and execute application deployments through CI/CD pipelines, including merging release candidates to the main branch and verifying pipeline triggers.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Oversee database schema creation and migration processes (Postgres DBaaS), initiating and monitoring relevant pipelines.<br/><br/><b>3.
Troubleshooting & Support : </b><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Provide expert-level support, diagnosing and resolving complex issues related to GCP, GKE, and database connectivity.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Investigate and resolve integration issues with external systems like Secret Manager, storage buckets, and DBaaS by reviewing application logs.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with Cloud DB Ops and Cloud Platforms teams for advanced support needs.<br/><br/><b>4.
User Enablement & Collaboration :</b><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Facilitate user onboarding and manage project creation/allocation for GCP/GKE access.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Work closely with Quality Engineering teams to understand their needs, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for platform enhancements.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Perform business verification steps, including login validation, access validation based on roles, and execution of Basic Verification Tests (BVT) scenarios.<br/><br/><b>5.
Security & Compliance : </b><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Ensure all tokens are securely managed in Google Secret Manager.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Verify that only authorized users can access the application.<br/><br/><b>Role & Responsibility :</b><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Proven experience managing and supporting production applications hosted on GCP.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Strong expertise with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and Kubernetes concepts (pods, deployments, services).<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience with GCP services such as Cloud Monitoring, Secret Manager, and managed database services (e.g., Cloud SQL for PostgreSQL).<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Proficiency with CI/CD tools and practices for automated deployments.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Solid understanding of database concepts, including schema management and migrations.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience with enterprise application integrations (e.g., Jira, Confluence, GitHub).<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.<br/><br/><b>Preferred Qualifications : </b></p><p><br/>- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, especially in the context of Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience with large language models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and web scraping technologies.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Prior experience in a Quality Engineering or DevOps role supporting testing Knowledge of performance testing and scalability considerations for applications.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
