<p><p>We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced AI Development Team Lead to manage and mentor a team of AI Engineers and Data Scientists.

</p><p><br/></p><p>This role requires a strong blend of technical acumen, project management skills, and a passion for developing and growing people.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities Leadership & Strategy :</b></p><p><br/></p>- Lead the design, architecture, and development of scalable, high-performance AI/ML solutions.<br/><br/></p><p>- Drive the team's technical strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and product vision.<br/><br/></p><p>- Act as a hands-on subject matter expert, providing technical guidance, conducting code reviews, and ensuring the quality and robustness of AI models and applications.<br/><br/></p><p>- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI, evaluating their potential application to our & People Management : </b></p><p><br/></p>- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of AI professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning, growth, and excellence.<br/><br/></p><p>- Manage team performance, conduct regular 1:1 meetings, and support the career development of team members.<br/><br/></p><p>- Facilitate agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, retrospectives) to ensure efficient project delivery.<br/><br/></p><p>- Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new AI & Workflow Management:</b></p><p><br/></p>- Oversee the end-to-end AI/ML project lifecycle, from initial research and data collection to model training, deployment, and monitoring.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, and other engineering teams to define project requirements, manage timelines, and deliver on objectives.<br/><br/></p><p>- Implement and enforce MLOps best practices for model versioning, CI/CD, and monitoring of production & Problem Solving :</b></p><p><br/></p>- Lead the team in tackling complex, ambiguous problems and translating business requirements into clear technical specifications.<br/><br/></p><p>- Foster an environment of innovation, encouraging the team to experiment with new technologies and :</b></p><p><br/></p>- Clearly communicate project progress, technical decisions, and the business impact of AI solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.<br/><br/></p><p>- Act as a key liaison between the AI team and senior leadership.<br/><br/><b>Required Qualifications :</b> Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative :</b> 7+ years of experience in AI/ML roles, with at least 2-3 years in a technical leadership, team lead, or management Skills :</b></p><p><br/></p>- Deep expertise in Python and a strong command of machine learning and deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).<br/><br/></p><p>- Proven experience with the full AI development lifecycle, including data engineering, model development, and production deployment.<br/><br/></p><p>- Hands-on experience with MLOps principles and tools (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, Docker, Kubernetes).<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for AI/ML Skills :</b></p><p><br/></p>- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a high-performing technical team.<br/><br/></p><p>- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build consensus and collaborate effectively across teams.<br/><br/><b>Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points) :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with Generative AI technologies, including LLMs, RAG, and fine-tuning.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience in [specific industry, e.g., FinTech, Healthcare, E-commerce, SaaS].<br/><br/></p><p>- A portfolio of successfully launched and impactful AI projects.<br/><br/></p><p>- Contributions to open-source AI/ML projects or publications in relevant forums</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
