<p><p><b>Role : Machine Learning Engineer</b><br/><br/>We are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer with a strong background in backend development and hands-on experience in building agentic systems using Generative AI technologies.<br/><br/>In this role, you'll work at the intersection of AI and payment technology to develop scalable AI-powered systems, design intelligent agents, and contribute to the development of innovative GenAI-driven applications.<br/><br/>You will be responsible for architecting and implementing robust backend systems while integrating cutting-edge AI capabilities such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, and intelligent agent frameworks.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- Design, develop, and maintain robust Python-based backend systems with a focus on scalability, performance, and security.<br/><br/></p><p>- Integrate and work with AI Agent frameworks and agentic development patterns.<br/><br/></p><p>- Build and deploy RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) pipelines and intelligent APIs </p><p>powered by Generative AI.<br/><br/></p><p>- Develop and consume RESTful APIs to support data exchange and service integration.<br/><br/></p><p>- Work with relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL for structured data </p><p>management.<br/><br/></p><p>- Utilize Docker for containerization and deploy services in microservices architecture.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and delivery of AI-first features.<br/><br/></p><p>- Apply prompt engineering techniques to fine-tune LLM interactions and outputs.<br/><br/></p><p>- Use tools such as Vibe (or equivalent AI coding assistants) to enhance development </p><p>workflows.<br/><br/></p><p>- Stay current with emerging trends in Generative AI and continuously explore ways to apply </p><p>them within our systems.<br/><br/><p><b>Requirements : </b></p><p><br/></p>- 4 to 8 years of professional experience in backend development using Python.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong experience with object-oriented programming and backend software engineering.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience working with any AI Agent frameworks (e.g., LangChain, AutoGPT, CrewAI, </p><p>Semantic Kernel).<br/><br/></p><p>- Solid understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.<br/><br/></p><p>- Hands-on experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficiency with version control tools, especially Git.<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with Docker for containerization and environment replication.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience working with microservices and distributed systems.<br/><br/></p><p>- Working knowledge of Vibe or similar AI coding tools.<br/><br/></p><p>- Solid understanding and experience with Generative AI technologies (e.g., LLMs, RAG, prompt </p><p>engineering).<br/><br/></p><p>- Demonstrated ability to creatively apply GenAI in solving real-world problems, ideally in </p><p>FinTech or payments.<br/><br/></p><p>- Get-it-done mindset : fast learner, self-starter, and proactive problem solver.<br/><br/><p><b>Preferred Qualifications : </b></p><p><br/></p>- Experience in the payments or FinTech domain.<br/><br/></p><p>- Contributions to open-source AI/ML projects or published work in the GenAI space.<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for model deployment.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
