<p><p><b>Job Description :</b><br/><br/><b>Role :</b> Guidewire Forms Developer <br/><br/><b>Location : </b>Remote <br/><br/><b>Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/>- Insurance domain knowledge with Property & Casualty background<br/><br/>- Hands-on experience in PolicyCenter Version 8.x / above (Experience in GW Cloud is an added advantage)<br/><br/>- Well versed in one of streams - Forms<br/><br/>- Strong knowledge in Guidewire platform (Gosu scripting / UI / Data Model)<br/><br/>- Strong knowledge in Guidewire Policy Form patterns and Generic / Custom Form inference logic<br/><br/>- Strong knowledge in GX Models / Custom Models<br/><br/>- Experience in Enhancements, Payload generation and Guidewire Smartcom Integration<br/><br/>- Good knowledge in Webservices, XML and ant script<br/><br/>- Experience on any database Oracle / SQL Server and well versed in SQL<br/><br/>- Exposure to SCM tool such as GIT, SVN are added advantage<br/><br/>- Knowledge on any application server such as Tomcat / JBoss is an added advantage.<br/><br/>- Experience in Agile SCRUM or SAFe methodology<br/><br/><b>Additional skills for Senior Associate</b><br/><br/>- Sound knowledge in software architecture and design patterns<br/><br/>- Must have estimation, team leading, code review and mentoring skills<br/><br/>- Worked on at least two Guidewire implementations<br/><br/><b>What You Must Have</b><br/><br/>- Bachelor's Degree<br/><br/>- 4 years of experience<br/><br/>- Java<br/><br/>- Oral and written proficiency in English required<br/><br/><b>What Sets You Apart</b><br/><br/>- Good written and oral communication<br/><br/>- Excellent analytical skill<br/><br/>- Sound knowledge in software architecture and design patterns<br/><br/>- Guide the team on tasks<br/><br/>- Must have estimation, team leading, code review and mentoring skills<br/><br/>- Review estimates and suggest updates for your module<br/><br/>- Complete design and develop accordingly in a timely fashion<br/><br/>- Support testing and client queries<br/><br/>- Interface and communicate with the onsite team<br/><br/>- Participate in scrum calls and provide status reports<br/><br/>- Take part in Center of Excellence activities, training as required and aligning to your interest <br/><br/>- Support sprint planning and collaborate with other teams from different locations and client</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
