<p><p><b>Job Overview :</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>We are seeking an experienced Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration Developer to join our dynamic team.
</p><p><br/></p><p>The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Guidewire PolicyCenter, strong programming skills in Gosu, and hands-on experience in configuring and integrating PolicyCenter within P&C insurance ecosystems.
This role requires close collaboration with business analysts, developers, QA teams, and other stakeholders to implement business requirements and deliver high-quality technical Responsibilities :</b></p><p><b><br/></b></p>- Configure and customize Guidewire PolicyCenter using Gosu and Guidewire Studio.<br/><br/></p><p>- Analyze, design, and implement changes to the PolicyCenter data model, product model, rating engine, and underwriting rules.<br/><br/></p><p>- Develop and consume web services (SOAP/REST) for integration with third-party systems and internal applications.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, architects, QA, and DevOps to deliver high-quality solutions.<br/><br/></p><p>- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve configuration and integration issues.<br/><br/></p><p>- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and sprint planning as part of an Agile/Scrum development team.<br/><br/></p><p>- Maintain source code using version control tools such as Git or Bitbucket.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ensure adherence to development standards, best practices, and compliance Qualifications :</b></p><p><b><br/></b></p>- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration and development.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficient in Gosu programming language and development using Guidewire Studio.<br/><br/></p><p>- In-depth understanding of PolicyCenter data model, product model, and rating engine.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience in implementing and customizing underwriting rules.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong knowledge of SOAP/RESTful web services and API integrations.<br/><br/></p><p>- Solid understanding of the Property & Casualty insurance domain.<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with version control systems like Git or Bitbucket.<br/><br/></p><p>- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
