<p><b>Job Role</b> : Automotive Hardware Engineer<br/><br/><b>Experience</b> : 5 to 10 Years<br/><br/><b>Location</b> : Chennai / Pollachi<br/><br/>We are seeking a skilled Automotive Hardware Engineer responsible for the technical delivery of automotive electronics hardware for global vehicle OEMs. The candidate will work on projects including Instrument Clusters, In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI), Information Displays, and Cockpit Electronics Controllers, ensuring high-quality design, development, and testing of automotive hardware systems.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/></p><br/><p>- Independently lead electrical hardware design tasks and review customer specifications.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Design and develop automotive products involving Microcontrollers, SoCs, High-Speed Memory, LVDS, FPD-Link III circuitry, and other high-speed design requirements.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Design Microprocessor and DSP digital cores, audio, camera, and video signal processing circuits, analog/digital control logic, linear and switching power supplies for automotive applications.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Perform worst-case analysis and simulations to ensure compliance with customer requirements.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Support product design reviews and maintain schematic and assembly drawings within the change management structure.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Develop and maintain Electrical DFMEA.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Generate electrical information for ECAD PCB layout and support ECAD designers.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Support hardware prototype builds and product verification testing.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Assist with EMC and validation testing, applying structured problem-solving for test failure resolution.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Present design, analysis, and test results to customers.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Hands-on experience with lab equipment : power supplies, oscilloscopes, function generators, multimeters, Skills & Experience :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Strong experience in automotive electronics hardware design.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Hands-on experience with Microcontrollers, SoCs, DSPs, and high-speed circuitry.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of analog and digital control logic, audio/video signal processing, power supply design.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience with LVDS, FPD-Link III, and other high-speed interfaces.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with DFMEA, PCB layout process, prototype build, and validation testing.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Excellent documentation and technical communication skills.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.</p> (ref:hirist.tech)
