Job description

Job Title: Sr. Sales Manager – Solar Sales (Channel & Distribution)

Location: Visakhapatnam

Department: Solar Sales

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Sales Manager to lead our Solar Sales operations in Visakhapatnam.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in channel sales, field sales, and distribution management within the solar industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and manage channel partners, distributors, and dealers to drive solar product sales.
- Plan and execute field sales strategies to achieve sales targets in the assigned region.
- Build and maintain strong business relationships with distributors, dealers, and key stakeholders.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand channel networks.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and provide feedback for business growth.
- Ensure timely distribution and product availability across the region.
- Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to achieve performance goals.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and MIS updates for management.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 3–7 years of experience in channel sales, distribution, and field sales in the solar industry (mandatory).
- Strong network with distributors, dealers, and channel partners in the renewable energy/solar sector.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and team management skills.
