Job DescriptionAbout the Role
As the HOD for PLC Programming & Design, you will lead the PLC and control systems engineering function across projects, ensuring robustness, scalability, and integration with our IoT / analytics infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the PLC programming & control systems design team.
- Oversee design, development, and commissioning of PLC automation systems (incl.
Allen‑Bradley platforms).
- Provide architectural guidance for control systems in mechanical / packaging machinery.
- Ensure integration between PLC / SCADA / MES / edge systems.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct technical reviews, and ensure best practices.
- Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation teams for seamless system integration.
- Conduct troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement in existing systems.
- Stay updated with new PLC / automation technologies, evaluate for adoption.
- Drive standardization, modularization, and reuse of control modules.
- Participate in hiring, training, and performance evaluation of the team.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s / Master’s in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Automation.
- 10–15 years of experience in PLC programming & design in industrial / manufacturing environment.
- Strong expertise in Allen‑Bradley PLC platforms (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, etc.).
- Experience in the mechanical / packaging / industrial machinery domain.
- Good understanding of electrical, instrumentation, motion control, and mechanical interfaces.
- Experience - 10-15 Years

Requirements1.Proven track record of 0-2 years in sales within the retrograde, corrugation, or flexible packaging industry.
2.Strong technical aptitude and understanding of machinery, spare parts, and services related to the designated industries.
3.Familiarity with industrial automation systems and their components 4.Good communication skills and ability to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.
5.
Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site service visits.
