<p><p>We are building a dedicated practice for Proofpoint implementations as an official Proofpoint Service Partner.
We are looking for skilled engineers with experience in email security platforms who can be trained to deliver high-quality Proofpoint deployments, configurations, and support for our global clients.<br/><br/>This is a great opportunity to work on enterprise-grade cybersecurity products and become an early member of a fast-growing security practice.
The dealing is going to be for the Indian Market.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/>- Assist in the deployment and configuration of Proofpoint solutions (e.g., Email Protection, TAP, DLP, Security Awareness, etc.)<br/><br/>- Work closely with clients to understand security needs, design appropriate configurations, and ensure successful implementations<br/><br/>- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to email flow, phishing, malware, encryption, and policy enforcement<br/><br/>- Work with internal teams and Proofpoint support to escalate and resolve complex problems<br/><br/>- Maintain documentation and support handover materials for clients<br/><br/>- Participate in training programs and certifications to gain Proofpoint expertise<br/><br/><b>Required Skills & Experience :</b><br/><br/>- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with email security or cybersecurity solutions<br/><br/>- Prior experience with any of the following tools : Mimecast, Cisco Secure Email (IronPort), Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Symantec/Broadcom, Barracuda, Trend Micro, Fortinet, etc.<br/><br/>- Understanding of email protocols : SMTP, SPF, DKIM, DMARC<br/><br/>- Strong understanding of networking concepts<br/><br/>- Familiarity with email routing, filtering, and encryption<br/><br/>- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills<br/><br/>- Experience with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace environments<br/><br/>- Excellent communication and client-facing skills<br/><br/><b>Preferred (but not mandatory) :</b><br/><br/>- Exposure to Proofpoint solutions (e.g., admin console, policy configuration, TAP, DLP)<br/><br/>- Knowledge of cyber threat vectors, phishing techniques, and remediation<br/><br/>- Experience working with SIEM or SOAR platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)<br/><br/><b>Why Join Us ?</b><br/><br/>- Opportunity to become a certified Proofpoint expert<br/><br/>- Work on enterprise-grade security implementations across multiple industries<br/><br/>- Competitive salary and fast-tracked career growth<br/><br/>- Exposure to global client projects in a high-demand domain<br/><br/><b>Core Skill Sets to Request :</b><br/><br/>1.
Email Security Gateways :<br/><br/>- Experience with Proofpoint, Forcepoint, Mimecast, Cisco Secure Email (IronPort), Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Barracuda, etc.<br/><br/>- Hands-on with spam filtering, encryption, email routing, policy configuration.<br/><br/>2.
DLP (Data Loss Prevention) :<br/><br/>- Experience with Forcepoint DLP, Symantec DLP, Microsoft Purview DLP, or Proofpoint DLP.<br/><br/>- Should understand policy creation, incident response, fingerprinting, EDM/IDM, tuning false positives.<br/><br/>3.
DNS & Email Authentication Protocols :<br/><br/>- Familiarity with SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and how they are configured and validated.<br/><br/>- Knowledge of tools like MXToolbox, Valimail, or native DNS checks.<br/><br/>4.
Cloud & Collaboration Security :<br/><br/>- Experience securing Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace environments.<br/><br/>- Understanding of Zero Trust, cloud security stacks (Zscaler, Cloudflare, Palo Alto Prisma, etc.).<br/><br/>5.
General Cybersecurity Competencies :<br/><br/>- Strong troubleshooting of SMTP, TLS, and DNS issues.<br/><br/>- Knowledge of phishing defense, BEC (Business Email Compromise) scenarios, and malware filtering.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with incident response workflows and client communications</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
