<p>Position Objective:<br/><br/>- As a part of a fast-growing business, the Category Growth Manager will drive strategy and profitability in the appliances and electronics spend categories.<br/><br/>- The Category Growth Manager for e-commerce business will be building and driving relationships and lead purchases from a variety of OEMs and other suppliers.<br/><br/>- The person will manage demand, product portfolio, costs, quality and Husk's delivery capacity.<br/><br/>Key Responsibilities:<br/><br/>- Identify and onboard diverse brands and products across electronics, appliances, and mobiles categories.<br/><br/>- Convince new age brands to partner with Husk and contribute to our fast-paced growth phase.<br/><br/>- Utilize strong negotiation and analytical skills to establish and maintain successful vendor relationships.<br/><br/>- Manage the app catalogue by owning listing prioritization, product mix profitability and consumer buying trend analysis.<br/><br/>- Responsible for pricing strategy, promotions and customer life cycle management.<br/><br/>- Prepare customer communication plan, and in-app merchandising for category.<br/><br/>- Monitor industry and consumer trends and stay updated on market developments.<br/><br/>- Conduct advanced data analysis to understand key performance indicators and develop action plans based on insights.<br/><br/>- Influence various teams/stakeholders within the organization (planning, category buyside, marketing, CRM, app storefront etc) to meet goals.<br/><br/>- Drive new initiatives to improve the customer experience within assigned categories/projects.<br/><br/>- Develop and execute strategies to maximize business profitability and expansion opportunities.<br/><br/>- Conduct financial analysis to meet or exceed revenue and profitability targets.<br/><br/>- Effectively prioritize and multitask in a dynamic 4+ years of category management experience, preferably with minimum 1 year in e-commerce marketplace or quick commerce.<br/><br/>- Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases (SQL exposure a must).<br/><br/>- Very strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, and recommendations, and drive actions.<br/><br/>- Preferred experience in high growth tech start-up, focused on Tier-2 markets with procurement or category management as a primary function.<br/><br/>- Strength in problem-solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask</p> (ref:iimjobs.com)
