<p><p><b>Description : </b><br/><br/>About the Role<br/><br/>We are seeking a highly analytical and technically skilled Data Scientist with strong proficiency in Python and/or R to join our data science team.<br/><br/>You will leverage advanced statistical methods, machine learning, and data visualization techniques to extract actionable insights from complex datasets and drive data-informed business decisions.<br/><br/>If you have a passion for turning data into impactful solutions and enjoy collaborating across teams, this role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/>- Develop, validate, and deploy predictive models and machine learning algorithms using Python and/or R to solve complex business problems.<br/><br/>- Conduct exploratory data analysis, data cleaning, and feature engineering on large and diverse datasets.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and marketing to understand business needs and deliver data-driven solutions.<br/><br/>- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and workflows to automate data processing and model deployment.<br/><br/>- Visualize data and model outputs using tools like Matplotlib, Seaborn, ggplot2, or interactive dashboards (e.g., Plotly, Shiny, Tableau).<br/><br/>- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.<br/><br/>- Stay current with the latest data science techniques, algorithms, and best practices.<br/><br/>- Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to building a data-driven culture.<br/><br/><b>Requirements : </b><br/><br/><b>Experience : </b><br/><br/>- 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or similar analytical role.<br/><br/>- Proven experience developing and deploying machine learning models using Python and/or R.<br/><br/><b>Technical Skills : </b><br/><br/>- Proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch, etc.) and/or R (tidyverse, caret, randomForest, etc.)<br/><br/>- Strong background in statistics, mathematics, and data mining techniques.<br/><br/>- Experience with SQL and working with relational and NoSQL databases.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker) is a plus.<br/><br/>- Knowledge of big data technologies such as Spark or Hadoop is advantageous.<br/><br/><b>Soft Skills : </b><br/><br/>- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.<br/><br/>- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.<br/><br/>- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
