<p>Overview :<br/><br/> Hyland is looking for an experienced test engineer to join our Information Systems team focused on building and supporting test automation across our internal lead to cash applications including Salesforce.<br/><br/> The Test Engineer is responsible for writing code/scripts identifying tools for functional and non-functional tests and contributing to the automated test frameworks to ensure the delivery of high quality software and products.<br/><br/> The Test Engineer designs test plans procedures and code/scripts to accurately assess new products and updates in accordance to product requirements and department quality standards.<br/><br/> The Test Engineer will collaborate with other engineering groups to define document analyze perform and interpret tests for products systems components and software modifications.<br/><br/> The Test Engineer will contribute to the establishment and use of the build pipeline.<br/><br/> What You Will Be Doing :<br/><br/>- Develop and maintain complex integration functional and non-functional tests and automated test frameworks across teams to ensure the holistic quality of the software.<br/><br/>- Lead and maintain the implementation of the delivery pipeline including test automation frameworks build environments test environments and security.<br/><br/>- Lead the verification of system functionality by executing complex automated and manual tests analyzing results and providing recommendations.<br/><br/>- Create and manage performance metrics defects/enhancements test cases and test results within a team.<br/><br/>- Operate as a trusted advisor on issues and trends; provide general consulting services leveraging expertise and best practice knowledge; identify and implement better test tools and automation methodology.<br/><br/>- Analyze and report test results and monitor trends over time; provide guidance to teams to continuously improve.<br/><br/>- Research complex escalations for production issues or software issues to ensure the stability of the application.<br/><br/>- Complete complex peer code reviews for test automation code and incorporate feedback into automated tests.<br/><br/>- Influence and lead on standards and processes of team and events including planning work estimation peer reviews and test design.<br/><br/>- Assess the business value and broader impact of software changes when designing automated tests; contribute to the prioritization of team backlog.<br/><br/>- Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland's Information Systems Security Policy.<br/><br/> What Will Make You Successful :<br/><br/>- BS or MS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.<br/><br/>- Experience should be between 3 years to 12 years.<br/><br/>- Experience with all phases of test lifecycle.<br/><br/>- Experience in software application testing tools methodologies and process framework.<br/><br/>- Experience with test automation and continuous integration tools.<br/><br/>- Experience documenting standards practice guidelines and/or standards.<br/><br/>- Significant experience with test design.<br/><br/>- Significant experience with using source control systems.<br/><br/>- Significant experience in development on Windows/Linux platforms.<br/><br/>- Significant experience with multiple scripting tools.<br/><br/>- Significant experience with build environments and delivery pipelines.<br/><br/>- Significant experience with programming or scripting.<br/><br/>- Experience with database technology.<br/><br/>- Experience with Agile frameworks.<br/><br/>- Demonstrated experience with regression testing.<br/><br/>- Strong oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact.<br/><br/>- Strong organizational multi-tasking and time management skills.<br/><br/>- Strong collaboration skills applied successfully within team as well as with all levels of employees in other areas.<br/><br/>- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.<br/><br/>- Good leadership sound judgement and business acumen skills.<br/><br/>- Strong at using original thinking to translate goals into the implementation of new ideas and design solutions.<br/><br/>- Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects to completion.<br/><br/>- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.<br/><br/>- Able to thrive in a fast paced environment.<br/><br/>- Strong attention to detail.<br/><br/>- Driven to learn and stay current professionally.<br/><br/>- Mentor coach train and provide feedback to other team members; may provide feedback to leadership on technical abilities of team.<br/><br/>- Up to 5% travel time required.<br/><br/>- Hyland's Offering.<br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
