<p><p><b>Overview :</b><br/><br/> Hyland Software is widely known as a great company to work for and a great company to do business with.<br/><br/> Being a leader in providing software solution for managing content, processes, and cases for organizations across the globe we enabled more than 20,000 organizations to digitalize their workplaces and transform their operations.<br/><br/> Currently we are looking for the position of Software Architect 3 (DICOM, C++).<br/><br/> The Software Architect 3 is a technical leader accountable for ensuring the technical designs for the software components in scope are fit for purpose documented and align with product roadmap business goals and technology strategy.<br/><br/> This position is accountable for a smaller set of components than a software architect 4.</p><p><b><br/></b></p><p><p><b>What You Will Be Doing :</b></p><p><br/>- Work within our Acuo Core VNA team as a Senior Software Developer/Architect, focusing on moving the product forward through refactoring and modernization, including the following:</p><br/></p><p>- VNA functionality and workflow optimizations for cloud deployments.<br/><br/></p><p>- Implementation of RESTful web services.<br/><br/></p><p>- Architect new components.<br/><br/></p><p>- Re-architect existing components as needed.<br/><br/></p><p>- Enhancing the supportability, security, usability, and performance of the software.<br/><br/>- Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hylands Information Systems Security Will Make You Successful :</b></p><p><br/>DICOM Standard (Required) In-depth knowledge of the DICOM Standard, including the following: </p><p><br/></p><p>- Multiframe image encoding, pixel data and tag data structures, and tag management.</p><br/></p><p>- Compression techniques (e.g. JPEG, JPEG 2000, RLE), for efficient storage, transmission and workflow interoperability of DICOM images.<br/><br/></p><p>- DICOM Toolkit Development: Experience building or maintaining C++ libraries for DICOM processing, including parsing, encoding, decoding and compression.<br/><br/>- Healthcare Enterprise Workflow, Components and Standards (required) Experience working with healthcare enterprise workflow components, standards, or integration initiatives.<br/><br/>- For example, familiarity with PACS/VNA systems, similar platforms, or integration standards/profiles such as IHE, XDS, and HL7.<br/><br/>- Microsoft C++ Development (required): Including memory management, concurrency and multi-threading.<br/><br/>- Microsoft .NET Development (required).<br/><br/>- Web servicesRESTful service implementation and design (required).<br/><br/>- Unit testing development (required).<br/><br/>- Amazon Web Services or cloud technologies (strong knowledge).<br/><br/>- SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL (strong knowledge).<br/><br/>- Familiarity with large capacity storage systems and Cloud storage environments (strong knowledge).<br/><br/>- Cloud development, for example AWS and/or Azure (nice to have).</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
