Job description
Job Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities across VMware Cloud and Open Source public cloud services.
- Manage a sales pipeline from lead qualification through closure and post-sales handover.
- Segment target market and develop tailored engagement strategies for mid-market enterprise customers.
- Understand the customer’s IT landscape, cloud maturity, pain points, and business goals to position Acecloud offerings effectively.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers, including CIOs, CTOs, and cloud architects.
- Leverage Key Account Management principles, and KAM framework for engaging mid size and large Enterprise customers.
- Stay current on cloud market trends, customer demands, and competitive landscape.
- Collaborate with pre-sales and solution architects to align customer needs with technical solutions.
- Present proposals, conduct demos, and respond to RFPs/RFIs with compelling value propositions.
Required Skills:
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in the mid-market segment.
- Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, especially VMware and open-source-based cloud platforms.
- Experience in hunting and creating new logos and new wins is mandatory.
- Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho.
Qualifications:
- An MBA from a Tier-1/2 institute is preferred.
- 7-13 years of experience into sales.
