The Role: Own Basil Health’s Digital Voice
As the Social Media Marketer, you’ll be at the heart of how the world experiences Basil Health.
You’ll craft our narrative across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), YouTube, and Spotify — transforming complex neurotech insights into engaging, human-centered content.
This is your stage to blend science with creativity, build a community from the ground up, and drive a global conversation around measurable mental wellness.
What You’ll Lead
Content Strategy & Creation
- Develop and execute a cross-platform content strategy for awareness, engagement, and trust.
- Build a vibrant content calendar featuring posts, Reels/Shorts, carousels, stories, and podcasts that echo Basil Health’s mission.
- Collaborate with neuroscientists, designers, and leadership to simplify complex innovations into relatable narratives.
- Design campaigns around audience segments — from corporate wellness and sports to maternal health and student performance.
Execution & Growth
- Manage Basil Health’s social presence end-to-end: content, engagement, influencer collaborations, and community activation.
- Drive organic follower growth and improve reach metrics through platform-specific optimization.
- Experiment boldly with motion graphics, AI-generated visuals, thought-leadership threads, and trend-driven storytelling.
Analytics & Performance
- Track KPIs including follower growth, engagement rate, website traffic, video retention, and conversion rate from social campaigns.
- Report actionable insights weekly to the leadership team, highlighting growth trends and next steps.
- Use tools like Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer, Google Analytics, and LinkedIn Analytics to manage and measure performance.
Community & Partnerships
- Engage with founders, investors, neuroscientists, and mental wellness advocates to build Basil Health’s credibility.
- Identify and collaborate with micro-influencers, wellness creators, and healthcare thought leaders to expand Basil Health’s reach.
- Represent Basil Health’s values — empathy, innovation, and authenticity — in all digital interactions.
You Might Thrive In This Role If You
- Have 3–5 years of experience in social media marketing, preferably in healthtech, wellness, neuroscience, or startup environments.
- Are skilled in content design (Canva / Adobe Suite), short-form video creation, and digital storytelling.
- Understand social media algorithms, audience psychology, and how to grow communities from 0 → 10K+.
- Are fluent in SEO, analytics, and paid promotions across Meta Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and YouTube Ads.
- Have excellent copywriting skills and can adapt tone — from scientific credibility (LinkedIn) to emotional resonance (Instagram).
- Are proactive, creative, and capable of owning projects end-to-end in a fast-paced, early-stage environment.
- Believe in the power of neuroscience and digital innovation to make mental wellness accessible and measurable.
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
- Experience in healthtech, medtech, or mental wellness startups.
- Podcast marketing / YouTube growth experience.
- Familiarity with neurotech concepts (EEG, HRV, biofeedback).
- Experience managing global brand campaigns or partnerships.
