<p><p><b>The impact that you will be making :</b><br/><br/>We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer - AI who is passionate about building AI-driven enterprise-grade applications.
This role is for a hands-on technical leader who will drive the development of our next-generation platform for autonomous AI agents.
You'll be responsible for building, optimizing, and deploying intelligent systems that can reason, plan, and execute multi-step tasks within enterprise workflows.<br/><br/>- Lead hands-on development : Design, build, and optimize scalable, production-grade systems for GenAI agents and multi-agent systems.<br/><br/>- Orchestration and frameworks : Implement and manage agentic workflows using frameworks like AutoGen, CrewAI, LangGraph and n8n.<br/><br/>- System architecture : Translate architectural designs into code, ensuring systems are robust, scalable, and deployed effectively on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).<br/><br/>- Integration and tooling : Develop and integrate tool-augmented agents by connecting them to APIs, databases, and other enterprise systems.<br/><br/>- Memory and RAG : Engineer and optimize retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, including vector search (Pinecone, etc) and embedding strategies.<br/><br/>- Fine-tuning and LLMs : Aware of applying fine-tuning techniques on LLM and how to handle/ build custom LLMs. Prompt Mentorship : Guide and mentor a team of engineers, promoting best practices for AI development, testing, and deployment.<br/><br/><b>What lands you in this role :</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>- 7+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on AI/ML/ Agents.<br/><br/>- 3+ years of experience specifically with GenAI and autonomous agent systems.<br/><br/>- Strong proficiency in Python, FastAPI, RUST (good to have) and cloud services.<br/><br/>- Expertise in agentic frameworks and workflows like AutoGen, CrewAI, LangGraph and n8n.<br/><br/>- Deep knowledge of multi-agent orchestration, RAG, and vector search.<br/><br/>- Experience with LLM fine-tuning and working with major LLM providers.<br/><br/>- Hands-on experience building and integrating tool-augmented agents.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with observability tools for AI systems.<br/><br/>- Experience with infrastructure automation (Terraform)<br/><br/>- Excellent problem-solving skills, leadership capabilities, and a collaborative mindset.<br/><br/><b>Good to Have : </b><br/><br/>- Prior experience in retail analytics, supply chain, or pricing domains.<br/><br/>- Experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes.<br/><br/>- Contributions to open-source AI/ML projects or publications in relevant fields.<br/><br/><b>Why Join Us?</b><br/><br/>- An opportunity to develop some of the best enterprise SaaS products to be built out of India<br/><br/>- Opportunities to quench your thirst for problem-solving, experimenting, learning, and implementing innovative solutions<br/><br/>- A flat, collegial work environment, with a hard, play hard attitude<br/><br/>- A platform for rapid growth if you are willing to try new things without fear of failure.<br/><br/>- Remuneration with best-in-class industry standards with generous health insurance cover</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
