 & Summary: 
The Portfolio Support SME is responsible for delivering, improving, and helping to oversee all end-user services functions across a particular portfolio.
The ideal candidate needs to possess strong work management skills and have advanced technical knowledge of the platform/tools they support.
The applicant must be able to motivate people, encourage teamwork, and communicate effectively with senior management and portfolio leaders.
It is expected that individuals in this role are extremely responsive to the needs of their assigned portfolios and the underlying support team.
Responsibilities:
Develop project management plans, scope, objectives and timelines.
Define project governance and structure.
Manage dependencies and activities.
Manage project budgets and resources.
Lead project teams and assign tasks.
Monitor and communicate project status to stakeholders.
Identify and mitigate project risks and issues and remove roadblocks for the team.
Lead a project team of up to 10 technical experts.
Budget management of under 2M.
Mandatory skill sets:
Proven experience in managing projects.
Experience with project management tools (e.g., Azure Devops, Microsoft Project, JIRA).
Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, PMP).
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information.
Leadership Skills: Ability to motivate and lead teams, facilitating collaboration and conflict resolution.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Capable of analyzing situations, identifying problems, and deriving effective solutions.
Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Risk Management : Understanding of risk management and quality assurance.
Ability to consider direction and form annual prioritization of work.
Ability to be actively involved in large projects and/or leading medium scale projects.
