Associate Product Manager – LMS (Loan Management System)
Location: Mumbai
Roles and Responsibilities
We follow the philosophy here that Product folks are generic problem solvers.
So, as an APM - LMS, you would have to ensure that the overall product principles are applied to this role as well, in addition to solving problems for Operations/Finance domains with respect to LMS requirements.
As a member of the Product team, you will be:
● Scope, Prioritize, Deliver and Track:
○ Own yourself/help the Product manager to scope CRs from various business stakeholders while understanding their requirement and analyzing the data
○ Actively engage with cross functional stakeholders, understanding their working styles and priorities to ensure smooth collaboration and timely decision making
○ Partake in ongoing UATs to ensure that the delivery is smooth and has all sign offs
○ Assess periodically to ensure that there are no post production issues
● Resolving stakeholder's issues, by:
○ Collaborating with LMS team members and business partners to properly triage and provide timely resolution to all queries/issues.
○ Building and maintaining strong working relationships with stakeholders across departments to drive alignment and quick resolutions.
○ Gathering the required information necessary to best handle technical and process related issues.
○ Owning the root cause fix of issues and continually driving issues encountered down, with a focus on automation, operational excellence, and proactive communication.
○ Setting up mechanisms in place to ensure that the issues do not repeat.
○ Willingness to provide weekend coverage, if and when needed, to handle emergencies.
● AI-Driven Productivity:
○ Proficient in leveraging AI tools (such as Gemini, Lovable, Colab, NotebookLM, GitHub Copilot, or similar) for tasks like prototyping, BRD creation, data analysis, API documentation, and workflow automation.
○ Continuously explore and adopt AI-based solutions to improve stakeholder communication, decision-making speed, and operational efficiency.
● Documenting, extensively:
○ Making timely updates about new feature releases to the documentation portal
○ Own and send release communications to all the stakeholders
● Multitasking in a fast paced environment
Qualifications
An ideal candidate would have:
● B.E/B.Tech/MBA; or a professional course - CA/CFA (finance background preferred)
● Being a commerce graduate or an MBA Finance Graduate will be a plus
● Working knowledge of LMS - with some experience on working with the same will be an
advantage
● Financial Domain, Banking or Fintech lending experience would be an added advantage
● Intellectual curiosity and learning drive to create continuous improvement - a core value
● Basic product knowledge of Retail loans, Term Loans, Working capital loans
● Strong communication & management skills
● Working knowledge of Excel/Google sheets
● A great attitude and calm demeanor
