<p><p><b>Job Summary : </b><br/><br/></p><p>We are looking for a skilled MicroStrategy Developer with strong expertise in SQL and hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining Business Intelligence (BI) solutions using MicroStrategy.<br/><br/></p><p>The ideal candidate will have 3 to 7 years of experience in BI development, with a deep understanding of data warehousing concepts and the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable reports and Responsibilities : </b></p><p><br/></p>- Design, develop, and maintain MicroStrategy reports, dashboards, and scorecards to support business decision-making.<br/><br/></p><p>- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures to extract, transform, and load data efficiently from multiple sources.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.<br/><br/></p><p>- Create and manage MicroStrategy metadata objects such as attributes, facts, hierarchies, filters, and metrics.<br/><br/></p><p>- Develop and implement data models to support BI reporting and analytics needs.<br/><br/></p><p>- Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of BI reports.<br/><br/></p><p>- Optimize MicroStrategy reports and dashboards for performance and scalability.<br/><br/></p><p>- Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and enhancement of existing BI solutions.<br/><br/></p><p>- Document BI development processes, configurations, and standards to maintain knowledge base and facilitate knowledge transfer.<br/><br/></p><p>- Stay updated with the latest MicroStrategy features, BI trends, and industry best practices.<br/><br/></p><p>- Work closely with database administrators to ensure smooth data integration and performance Skills and Qualifications : </b></p><p><br/></p>- 3 to 7 years of professional experience as a MicroStrategy Developer or BI Developer.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong proficiency in SQL with experience in writing complex queries, query optimization, and performance tuning.<br/><br/></p><p>- Hands-on experience with MicroStrategy Desktop, MicroStrategy Web, and MicroStrategy Architect.<br/><br/></p><p>- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, star/snowflake schemas, and ETL processes.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience in creating MicroStrategy objects : attributes, facts, metrics, filters, and hierarchies.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ability to design and implement dashboards, reports, and visualizations that effectively communicate insights.<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with other BI tools and data visualization platforms is a plus.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or Teradata.<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) for automation is a plus.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.<br/><br/></p><p>- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.<br/><br/></p><p>- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
