This role demands strong expertise in manual testing, primarily focusing on API validations using POSTMAN, SQL queries for database verification, and functional testing of web applications.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of testing methodologies, exceptional analytical skills, and significant experience in the Auto Finance or broader Finance domain.</p><p><b><br/></b></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Conduct comprehensive manual testing of applications, focusing on functional testing of web-based software.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Perform API testing extensively using POSTMAN to validate functionality, performance, and security of API endpoints.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Create, execute, and optimize SQL queries for backend data validation and verification against test cases.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Develop detailed and clear test plans, test cases, and test scripts aligned with business and technical requirements.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Identify, document, communicate, and track defects effectively through established bug tracking tools, collaborating closely with development teams for timely resolution.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Validate data integrity and consistency in complex databases through rigorous SQL testing.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Adhere to and promote best practices in testing methodologies and QA processes to maintain high quality and standards.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Participate in requirement reviews, design discussions, and planning activities to ensure test coverage and feasibility.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior QA testers and assist in enhancing QA practices.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product owners, and business analysts, to deliver quality software under agreed Skills & Qualifications :</b><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in manual testing with a strong emphasis on API testing (POSTMAN) and backend validation using SQL.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Proven expertise in writing and executing complex SQL queries for database testing.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Strong understanding of testing methodologies, SDLC, and defect lifecycle.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience in functional testing of web-based applications and database-driven systems.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Prior experience in the Auto Finance or Finance industry is mandatory.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Proficient in documenting defects and working with bug tracking tools such as JIRA (preferred).<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail Competencies :</b><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Team leadership and mentoring capabilities.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Basic knowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks is a plus but not mandatory.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Strong time management and prioritization & Work Model :</b><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>The role reports to the QA Manager or Project Lead.

The position offers a full-time work schedule based in Hyderabad with working hours from 3 :00 PM to 12 :00 AM IST.
