JD:

Migrating VMware based Applications on premise to Cloud all via automated pipelines

using CI/CD, IaC, PowerShell and Bash Scripting then validation and testing of integrations,

connectivity, functional and non-functional tests

- Upgrading applications via AWS MGN configuration, synchronisation and testing

- Develop and maintain CI/CD orchestration Scripts ( TeamCity, Github actions) for orchestrating pipelines, testing

and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.

Skills

- CI/CD and IaC tooling

- Deep understanding of AWS MGN and core services, including EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, Lambda, and more.

- Hands-on experience with AWS CLI and SDKs.

-Proficiency in Linux system administration, BASH scripting, including user management, file systems, networking, and security.

-Familiarity with Windows PowerShell for automation and scripting tasks.

- Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions and TeamCity.

- Proficiency in IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.

- Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting:

- Ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Analyse dependencies on on-premise infrastructure, OS, VMware, databases, integrations and ensure consistency via applicable pyramid and NFT test/validations with upgraded and migrated DHP target state.
• Plan AWS AMI configurations via MGN *TBC
• Identify security and compliance requirements and map them to AWS security services (IAM, Security Groups, etc.) and ensure alignment with CBA guardrails and policies
• Plan the migration of data from on-premise databases to AWS RDS instances.
• Create, execute and test the CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
• Exposure to cloud migration CI/CD pipeline engagements is necessary
• Writing scripts to automate application set up using powershell,BASH and terraform scripting
• Exposure to the all the AWS services (Compute,Network and security services ) are an added advantage with AWS tool sets for CI/CD
• Use the existing AWS accelerators to suggest and support the projects.
